今朝のラジオで医療ジャーナリストの松井宏夫さんが夢のがん治療薬キートルーザ（メルク社）の話をしてくれた。本来人体にそなわっている免疫力による攻撃からがん細胞が身を守るＰＤ－１の効力をなくしてがん細胞を殺すシステムは先駆けのオプジーボ（小野薬品）と同じだが、オプジーボはそれを使う前に抗がん剤を使わなければならないのに対し、キートルーザはその必要がなく、有効性も遥かに高いとのことで当に夢のがん治療薬との話をしていた。今後より有効な同様な薬が次々に出てくることが予想され、癌が薬で治る時代は近いと思われた。

The system to kill cancer cells by losing efficacy of PD-1 is the same as pioneeer Opsibo (Ono Pharmaceutical Co.),
but before using Opsibo we must use anticancer drugs, Keytruda do not need it and had a much higher
effectiveness, so he talked as a dream cancer treatment agent.
It is expected that similar more effective drugs will come out one after another, and it seems that the time when
cancer is cured with medicine is close.
