彼は１７歳で遥か離れたジョージアから両親の反対を押し切って全く未知の日本に大きな夢を抱いてやってきた。相撲部屋の激しいしごきに耐えて練習して小結にまでなったが怪我で最下位になってしまった。よくぞ苦境を乗り越えて優勝したと心からおめでとうと言いたい。優勝インタビューを聞いたが難しい日本語がここまで上手になるとはたいしたものだと思った。昨日故国に電話したら皆泣いていたとのことだがそうだろう。これほど感極まることはないと思う。おめでとう。いつもそうだが優勝は大きな感動を与えてくれる。来場所以降他の力士も頑張って大きな感動を与えてくれることを期待する。

He endured the intense squeezing of the sumo wrestling room and started practicing and became the Komusubi ,
but he went down to the lowest place by the injury.
I'd like to say congratulations from the bottom of my heart that he won the championship triumphing over the
adversity.
I thought it would be a great thing to hear overcoming such a difficult language Japanese when I heard the
championship interview.
He said when he called his home country yesterday, everyone was crying.
I think there will be never such great impression. Congrats. As always, the victory gives us great impression. I hope that other sumo wrestlers will work hard and give us great impression after the next competition.
