I wouldn’t be doing you any favors if I only shared the good news. There are real obstacles here. And I think it’s important to look them in the eye.

 The banking lobby is fierce. Big banks currently earn around $360 billion annually from payments and deposits. Crypto threatens a slice of that. They are not going down without a fight, and their lobbying budgets are enormous. Banks have formally opposed giving crypto firms direct access to the Federal Reserve’s payment system. That’s a line in the sand.

 Stablecoin yields are a sticking point. There’s a real battle over whether crypto platforms should be allowed to pay users yield on stablecoins. Crypto wants this. Banks hate it. And right now, finding a middle ground is proving harder than anyone expected. My gut says the first version of this bill passes without stablecoin yields — just to get something across the line.

 A government shutdown looms. As of this writing, Polymarket has a government shutdown probability sitting near 74% by mid-February. If DC grinds to a halt, so does any legislative progress.

 Geopolitical risks are real. Polymarket data also shows a growing probability of US military action against Iran before June. If that happens, Congress has bigger fish to fry. Crypto legislation takes a back seat fast.

 Bipartisan trust is fraying. The Trump Memecoins, Melania token, and the family’s direct crypto financial ties have given Democrats ammunition to challenge the administration’s motives. That makes cross-aisle cooperation harder to sustain.

Here’s what I’m personally watching closely. Bitcoin has been hovering between $60K and $70K.

My Final Take on the Crypto Clarity Act

I’ve covered a lot of markets. I’ve seen a lot of hype cycles. But what’s happening right now with the Crypto Clarity Act 2026 feels genuinely different.
私は多くの市場を見てきたし、多くの過大宣伝サイクルも経験してきた。しかし、今起きている暗号資産クラリティ法案2026の動きは、本当に何かが違うと感じる。

It’s not just industry insiders cheering. It’s the White House, major financial institutions, and massive political money all pointing in the same direction.
