11月27日は、多摩都市モノレールの「鉄道むすめ」立川いずみちゃんの誕生日。
僕と同じ射手座であることも、親近感が沸いてお気に入りの理由の1つである。
改めて、僕も大好きないずみちゃんを紹介したい。
いずみちゃんは2010（平成22）年3月にデビュー。2009（平成21）年10月に、開業以来初めて駅員さん・乗務員さんの制服がリニューアルされたこともデビューのきっかけとなった。
名前の由来は多摩都市モノレール線の「立川北駅」と「泉体育館駅」から。
生まれも育ちも立川市という立川大好きっ子。
特技は状況や変化に合わせた素早く柔軟な対応。子どもから好かれやすく、駅での迷子の対応も、その子の目線に立って、やさしく話を聞いている。
同じ駅の助役として勤務する万願寺さき先輩とは公私とも姉妹のような仲で、仕事面では先輩を心強くサポートしている。先輩からも厚い信頼を置かれている。休憩時間にコンビニスイーツを一緒に食べることも。
趣味はバドミントン、映画鑑賞とショッピング。最近ではさき先輩と多摩動物公園に一緒に出かけて楽しんでいる。
他の鉄道事業者に勤務している友人もおり、その友人とは玉川上水駅で待ち合わせしている。
デビュー以来、駅にいずみちゃんが描かれたパネルが設置されたり、ポスターが掲示されたり、1日乗車券などのグッズが販売されたりしてきたが、2012（平成24）年ごろからグッズ制作などのいずみちゃんのキャラクター展開が休止状態に。もう新作グッズは見られないのかと思ったら、2022（令和4）年にラバーストラップや缶バッジなどのグッズが久しぶりに登場。それ以降も新作グッズが続々と制作されている。
同じく2022（令和4）年、「白いモノレール」として知られる1000系電車1102Fがいずみちゃんのヘッドマークを付けて運行された。
2023（令和5）年には、それまで冬服姿だけだったいずみちゃんの公式イラストに、夏服姿の新しいものがお披露目された。
最後に、僕のお気に入りのいずみちゃんグッズを集めた1枚を。
1日乗車券（2011（平成23）年発売）、ラバーストラップ（2022（令和4）年発売）、夏服クリアファイル（2024（令和6）年発売）。
今後も、ファンとしていずみちゃんを応援し続けたい。
November 27th is the birthday of Izumi Tachikawa, a "Tetsudou-musume" character from Tokyo Tama Intercity Monorail.
Since her debut, I have liked to collect her goods, draw fun art, and photograph her cut-outs.
I feel an affinity with her because of the same zodiac sign, Sagittarius.
I want to introduce her again.
She debuted in 2010. The design change of station staff and train driver's uniform on Tokyo Tama Intercity Monorail in 2009 led to her debut.
She was named after Tachikawa-kita [Tachikawa Station North] Station and Izumi-taiikukan [Tachikawa City Izumi Gymnasium] Station.
She loves Tachikawa City because she was born there and grew up there.
She is good at flexibility and is loved by children. When she finds stray children, she listens to what they say in their shoes.
She has a sister-like friendship with her senior colleague, Saki Manganji. While working, she supports Saki. During the break time, the two like to eat convenience-store confectionary.
On holidays, she likes to play badminton and go shopping. Recently, she also sometimes goes to Tama Zoological Park with Saki.
One of her friends works at another railway company, and she meets her friend at Tamagawa-josui Station.
Since her debut, her cut-outs and some posters featuring her have been shown and some goods, such as a one-day unlimited ticket, have been produced. However, the production of her new goods stopped around 2012. I had been disappointed at the production stoppage of her new goods.
In 2022, the production restarted. A rubber charm and aluminium button badge newly appeared. In the same year, a white-coloured 1102F set on Tokyo Tama Intercity Monorail Line showed front signs with her illustrations.
In 2023, her new official illustration wearing a summer uniform appeared. In 2024, her new goods keep producing.
