ふと気づくと、黒っぽい煙が上がっています。噴火した！？ バスの中は一挙に興奮状態、みんなは写真を撮りまくっていました。We suddenly noticed that there was black smoke coming out. Erupted!? We all got excited and were busy taking photos.
黒煙は見る間に西へと広がって行きます。The black smoke rapidly swelled towards the west.
鹿児島市内では灰が降っていて、バスを降りる前に「灰が目に入ってもこすらないように」と運転手さんの注意を受けました。Ash was falling in the Kagoshima city, and before we got off the bus, the driver advised us not to rub our eyes if ash gets in.
ハイビスカスも灰まみれです。Hibiscus was also covered by ash.
