「ゴガク魔女」を目指して　～４児のママの懲りない実験～

昨日、長女の特別支援学校の保護者会に行ってきました。
お母さん達とランチしたのですが、初めてお話した方のお子さんの話にショックを受けました。
彼女の障害はうちの子のような先天性（おそらく）のものではなく、２歳半すぎにかかったウイルス性脳症の後遺症によるものということでした。

「それまでは、元気で活発でよくしゃべる子だったんですよ・・」お母さんが明るく気さくな雰囲気の方だけに、今思い出しても涙が出ます。

Yesterday I attended a parents-teachers' meeting at my first daughter's special elementary school.Before the meeting I had lunch together with her schoolmates' mothers and was shocked to hear the story about one of them, whom I met for the first time.

Her daughter is cerebrally challenged not due to an innate brain trouble as my daughter's, as I assume, but due to a viral cerebral disease she caught when she was a little older than two and a half years old.

The mother said her daughter used to be a healthy, active and talkative girl until she got the sudden disease. Tears are coming out recalling her words, all the more as the mother is also cheerful and friendly.
