In the middle of Iran-Iraq War, it was not Japan nor other allies but Turkey that sent airplanes to save Japanese people left in Iran
As long as I remember, I learned about this fact for the first time in one of the self-development and psychology books I've read up a storm since while I was under psychotic depression, not on history textbooks nor media
. So about a marine disaster which became an origin of friendly relations between Japan and Turkey. With the lapse of time... Reportedly, after the earthquake-disaster in eastern Turkey on Oct. 23
, people at stricken area have been maintaining public order, helping each other and pulling themselves together. They thought that they have to learn from discipline and patience of the people at stricken area in Japan -Then, have our country been a kind of help in some ways...? if robbery and theft are rampant in the stricken area of natural disasters like those earthquakes, they would be kinds of man-made disaster
. And as is already said, earthquake and flood are natural disasters, but atomic power accident is man-made disaster. Then, spreading harmful rumor, discrimination and bullying related to atomic power accident based on wrong information and ignorance can be regarded as clearly man-made disasters, too
-or rather secondary man-made disaster... Does it make sense, discriminators? Even while we might be still occupied with our restoration and reconstruction, if we can share some lessons from the disaster we've experienced, it would be one of the ways we can be useful for the world immediately. -Not only good examples, but also negative exemplum.
Eight months is passing after 3.11 earthquake. But today, let me take this occasion to place my prayer for the victims of earthquake in eastern Turkey -and flood in Thailand. (Last month)
