this song of Elton John was dedicated to Princess Diana in September 1997 ,
　So at first, I didn't know that this song was about Marilyn Monroe in 1973 ,
　　-But today's story is not about this song.
Last week, I watched a biographical documentary movie " AMY
　As for what I thought as the one who is involved in music, I'm not sharing here
　　-But today's story is not about this movie or music but the singer.
It could be irreverent to lump those two ladies together, but there is a common point among them that they had stalkerish reporters behind them.
I thought of such a thing because I recalled that it was while a car chase with stalking reporters that Princess Diana was killed in car accident.

Needless to say, illegal drug usage is a genuine crime, and what this singer's father said is right that we have responsibility for our own wellness .
At the same time; as for this singer, her self-destructive habit of drug usage and drinking came from desire to escape from reality that she was disgusted about gap between her self-image and image forced by the public.
It's obvious that what she was disgusted about was those stalking reporters and cameramen .
It sounds like a line from " Blown In The Wind ", but how many people to hurt and how many lawsuit to go through and how much compensation to pay until such stalking reporters learn?
Before I thought up this weblog, I read news that a news website in the U.S. was closed due to massive compensation .
May I label again
They boast that it's them who rise up fame of celebrities they chase around,
　Label general public as shallow-minded and dumb who enjoy only entertainment and gossip articles,
　　No hesitation to bully and slander targets to win sales and audience rate,
　　　Even serve major esoteric points of bullies.
But no wonder: It's less risky for them to chasing around love affairs and private lives of celebrities than stepping into battlefields, stricken areas of national disasters, political jungles
-Have I gone too far? Sorry.
When I was grappling with this composition, a young actor, who entered showbiz world with mother's coattail, was arrested of sexual assault,
And a commentator mentioned concern about secondary damage to the victim caused by media fuss
-Although it's doubtful whether concern for the victim is in mind of people who are interested only in enjoying sense of justice and "entertainer's scandal".
Reportedly, the first person who mentioned concern for the victim in public three days later was the actor who pinch-hit for the arrested actor, after the impromptu reshooting.

However... it's too obvious to say, but not all the general public they want to fob off crap papers and programs on are readers that they expect to be .
-How about in other countries?
When a famous traditional stage actor's wife was found out to have cancer, he requested reporters to refrain from swarming around for interview about it, for the sake of his wife and family .
Many people approved, and expressed anger against those inconsiderate reporters with no delicacy.
Although stalking reporters side turn deaf ears, with those excuses:
Media would lose significance if they withdraw readily,
　　Entertainers always owe media in providing information to fans and audience,
　　　They are persuing misfortune like news of death and illness, gossip and scandals and private lives as well as auspicious occasion and performance information, and this is fair freedom of the press .
Then WHAT IF this actor announced the names of those stalking publishers and reporters, and readers actually raised a boycott as both readers side and media providor side suggested?
I couldn't help thinking that it would be OK to happen if this actor really wants, so that stalking media side can learn a lesson even a bit.
Because they cannot complain if anti-stalking law and nuisance prevention ordinance and defamation were applied on what they are doing.
In some cases, trespassing, business interference, vehicular manslaughter could be applied, too -is there anything else?

In short, same old question again : Which is the one that should be wiser, reporters side or readers side?
I'd like to conclude today's weblog with a sentence I found in a book by a sociologist and psychologist which I placed once, saying that in society of people despair of life, scandals become commodities .
