I've heard that brand loyalty by our nation is known widely in countries where those big-name fashion brands come from and other countries, sometimes with amazement, sometimes ridicule. Then, has this news that caused a lot of fuss already spread in those countries?: At a public elementary school in the Capital Prefecture, school uniform designed by Italian big-name brand was adopted at Headteacher's own discretion, and schoolchildren in school in uniform are subjected under harassment by passers-by.
I rather approve of school uniform, but is it necessary in elementary school? This is another story for today.
If this school in question was for children of ONLY the privileged classes, it wouldn't be so surprising if children wear uniforms from luxury brands. But this school in question is a public school to achieve equality of educational opportunity, even though this is classified as special category school in an area where the moneyed live; what did this Headteacher want to do? As for this, many people have already argued and written up many things, so the main story is below.
As long as I've read and been told, If I want to own big-name brand goods, I should buy with money earned by myself, and it's disgraceful to own disproportionate luxury goods.
-Although I deny the old labeling that disproportionate big-name brand goods mean disproportionate income for young ladies, which is a proof of prostitutes
. Because there are young people who succeed and get wealthy in socially acceptable ways nowadays. On the second thought, no matter how they are rich, without suitable dignity, they would look inappropriate and ill-suited in big-name brand clothes. Then, what about products of big-name brands for children? -I thought up a groundless suspicion as I was grappling with this composition: Do parents who buy such things for children think of their children like dress-up dolls? So does the Headteacher mentioned above.
Is it pertinent or irrelevant?
Some merchandise of big-name brands sold in our country are designed to appeal that they are big-name bland products. Situation in other countries aside, as long as nations in our country are fiercely loyal to things such as brands, official guarantees and authority, children follow such adults, and certification authority business keeps on working out. -Me? In selecting goods like wallets and bags, function first
. As for clothes, there are various things to consider.
It's nothing new that general public over-appreciates and leaps at certificated origin bland, and as a result, food fraud cases are coming up one after another. Before I thought up today's weblog, I saw one of my favorite musicians posting on Twitter that he doesn't mind if he cannot experience cuisine by chefs who just aim to win Michelin-stars for life, or rather he doesn't want to eat such meals
. If such chefs and founders of fashion brands are welcoming only nouveau riches and people who rely on power of money, that's a lofty business concept -As long as they want to support impressing gap between the rich and the poor to society and promote social destabilization. what if those people ruin the true value and significance of bland?
...I think I'm missing lots of things today. And I realized that what I should focus on is NOT significance and value of bland, but how to become a "happy rich" who don't need to rely on power of money and luxury bland goods, regardless of amount of fortune.
