あったかい子守歌

About two weeks ago I heard the sound of putting a glass on the desk at the living room
at the crack of down.
I thought somebody was there and held my husband’s arm.
I told my sister about it on the following day and she told her husband about it
and said “ she’s scared of ghosts. “ to him. Then they invited me to their house.
Of course I was more than willing!
And I had been looking forward to staying at their house!
Coz I can sleep next to my nephew called “ U-chan “.

my PJ etc.
Getting there, I took a bath and changed into PJ. Then I had dinner with my sister
and her husband.
She cooked for me even though she was very busy. Thanks to my sis!
I played my nephew after dinner while drinking tea for a while.
Then my sister put her son to sleep and I and her husband started to watch Asian Cup.
This Japanese football team got much better after Shunsuke leaving.
But that’s too bad not to be able to see his beautiful kicks.
I went to bed after going for Japanese team.
Next to me my nephew was asleep safe and sound.
I tried not to wake him up and get close to him and not to touch him but I put my hand

My sister got up even four times and fee him, cradled him and sang a song for him.
The voice was very sweet and warm.
A week passed after it but her singing voice was in my mind still now.
Night was over quickly and I went into the living room while rubbing my eyes.
Then sister’s husband made caf? au lait for me.

The more I spend time with U-chan, the more I can see his various face and he
smiles a lot.
This is about a week ago, it was a very happy night.
先週の金曜日は、初めて妹の家に泊まった。
２週間程前、朝方にリビングで誰かがコップをテーブルに置く音がした。
「誰かいる。」と隣に寝ているオットの腕を、手を伸ばしてつかんだ。
妹に翌日だったかに「おばけがいる。」と話したら、妹がその話しを妹の旦那さんに話し、
そして、オットがいない金曜の夜、泊まりにきてもいいよ。と言ってくれたのだ。
私はもちろん大喜び！
随分前からとても楽しみにしていた。
だって、Uちゃんの隣で寝られるのです。
金曜は仕事を定時であがり、一度家に帰り、お泊りセットを持ち妹の家へ。
妹の家に着いたら、お風呂に入りパジャマに着替え、妹の作った夕飯を妹夫婦と一緒に
食べた。
この日は私の大好物の生姜焼き。１日忙しくしている妹が夕飯を作ってくれ、感謝。
食べ終わって、お茶を飲みながら、思う存分Uちゃんとじゃれ、遊んだ。
やがてUちゃんは寝る時間になり、妹が寝かしつけ、私と妹の旦那さんはサッカーを
見た。
今の日本代表は、俊輔が抜けて抜群によくなったけど、俊輔がいなくなり、俊輔の
プレーが見れなくなり、とても残念。。。。
妹夫婦と応援し盛り上がり、試合が終わってからすぐに寝た。
隣ではUちゃんが静かにすやすやと寝ています。
起こさないように、そろそろと近寄り、しかし触れないようにしつつ、でもUちゃんの
ふとんの中に手をいれて、Uちゃんのぬくもりを感じながら寝ました。
妹は４回も途中起き、おっぱいをあげたり、あやしたり、子守歌を歌ったり。。。。
その子守唄がとてもやさしく、あったかかった。
私はそれからしばらく経つけれど、その妹の子守唄が頭の中を周って仕方ない。
朝はあっという間にきて、目をこすりながら「おはよう」とリビングにいったら、
妹の旦那さんがカフェオレをいれてくれた。
この日は結局夕方まで、Ｕちゃんと一緒に過ごした。
Ｕちゃんは、やっぱり長く一緒にいればいるほど、いろんな表情を見せてくれ、また笑顔も
たくさん見せてくれる。
もう先週のことだけど、とても幸せな週末のお泊りでした。
