イエスのヴォーカリスト、ジョン・アンダーソンのソロ３作目
「アニメーション」(Animation)がとうとうＣＤ化されることになりました。





この作品はイエスのヒットアルバム「９０１２５」がリリースされる前、
つまり1982年の作品ですが、今までＣＤ化されていないことが不思議でした。


ＣＤ化にあたりシングルＢ面曲とアウトテイクがボーナス収録されています。

タイトル曲「Animation」は長尺な曲ですが、それ以外は3～4分の小作品。
キャッチーでポップな歌メロが後のイエスの音楽性を予見させます。
ボーナスの「The Spell」も10分を越える大曲ですが、セッション音源みたいです。
