Alan A wrote to me this morning asking "does anyone know
when Starless made it's debut.
The earliest recording I can see is during the early '74 European Tour
- Brescia Italy, March 20 1974."


The first time Starless was played was the previous night in Udine, March 19, 1974.
This was also the first (and possibly last) time a new song called
Guts On My Side was played.

クリムゾンがスターレスを初披露した日は1974年3月19日だそうです。
その日は「Guts On My Side」という新曲もプレイされました。


We have the last part of the soundboard for this gig in the archive
but for the rest of the gig,
including the Guts track it's on a terrible quality bootleg recording.

ＤＧＭが所有しているのは完全盤ではなく、サウンドボード以外は
劣悪なブート音源だとのことです。


Even after David and Alex's very best attempts
to ressurect it from its sonic grave,it remains unlistenable,
and sparked a ferocious debate amongst the DGMLive team at the time
about whether it should be made available or not.

いまだにサウンドボード級の良質音源は見つかっていないようです。


Does anyone out there have a better quality boot of this concert they could send us of Udine, March 19th 1974.
