The big strong typhoon made landfall today. The Shinkansen shut down
due to the heavy rain and strong wind. Therefore, I gave up returning
home tonight. I made a hotel reservation near Utsunomiya station and
then went to a restaurant with my colleague. I have a meeting at Nagoya
Institute of Technology tomorrow afternoon, so I'll go there well in
advance by the Shinkansen.
