My colleague and I were telling one of our sales staff to leave work early yesterday.
I regretted this persuasion.
When I saw my colleague in the morning, she looked tired.
She said she might catch cold.
For my part, I was not feeling well, too.
We worked as usual, but I noticed her condition was getting worse.
I made her to leave work early and she did so.
After she went home, I heard the sales staff had had influenza.
Today’s phrase
ミイラ取りがミイラになる Miira tori ga miira ni naru
word‐for‐word translation → Mummy hunter becomes mummy.
correct translation → join [take sides with] those one was supposed to restrain
