今回は外国人の友人がたくさん読んでいる可能性があるため、バイリンガルになっています。
* this is writting in both English and Japanese due to my non-Japanese friends will be reading.... hehe

ユースホステルをチェックアウトする日になっちゃいました。。
ステイを始めた当初はチョットした戸惑いもあったけど、いろんな国籍のいろんな年齢の人たちと交流できるユースホステルは本当に素敵な場だなぁ・・♪
っと心の底から思います。

well.... The day to check-out YouthHostel has come...
At the beginning... I had a bit of confusion and struggle for staying with 7 other people in a room, but now I relly feel from deep inside my heart that I really had a fantastic time.... and it has been great opportunities for me to meet up with so many different people from all over the world ..

早くも来年もこのSan FranciscoでのBATSのWorkshopに参加する予定なので、今からもうユースホステルに予約を入れておこうかなって真剣に考えています。　笑

I am seriously thinking of coming back to SF again next year around this time of the year for another BATS program... and am thinking of making a reservation at the hostel already... hehe

サンフランシスコ5日目
The 5th Day in San Francisco...

Fort Masonのユースホステルは8人部屋の女子寮で1泊26ドル
そこにはちゃんとコンチネンタルの朝食もついてくるんです。
ベーグルかワッフル＆コーヒー＋オレンジジュース
なんて感じですが・・・

っで、適当にトースターで火を通して空いている所に座るんですが、ここでも交流ができて愉しいですね。。
ただ、、、　朝はちょっぴり頭が回らないからのんびり＆ボーーーっと食事を取るのも良い感じですが。

At Fort Mason Youth Hostel... it is $26 per night for female dorm with continental breaky... of one bagle or two waffles, coffee and OJ..

it is fun to have morning communication with the person you sit at the same table or just have a nice and quiet one by yoursel with your not-working-morning-brain..

っで、そのままRayも一緒に昨年のインプロのコースでお世話になったWilliamの素敵な奥様CarlaとGreensで待ち合わせをしてお昼ごはんに。

友達の友達は皆友達だ！！　なんですよね。

I've had my last breakfast at Cafe Branco of Youthhostel with Frank from Amsterdam and Ray from Canada whom I got along with talking about Rock the Bell... and I finally had to check out...
then I went to see Carla who is the wife of my last year's improv class teacher William at Greens with Ray for lunch..

Friend's friend is your friend!! right?!

Rayがお礼にとっても素敵な詩をプレゼントしてくれました。。　

so.... I've made a great friend's circle from all diffent countries within the first 4 days of my San Francisco trip..
Ray has even written me a beautiful poem!!

そんな素敵な気持ちでいっぱいになりながら、BARTに乗っていざRockridgeという駅へ。。
今日からお世話になるYaelが駅で待っていてくれて、そのままRockridgeの駅周辺をショッピングしながら案内をしてくれて、素敵な素敵なご自宅に到着しました。

Yaelのだんな様のDavidは絵本作家で近々文化社から絵本が出版される予定でもあるのです。

With those heart-warming memories, I took a BART to go to Rockridge to see Yael... she took me around the town and then her home... where I will be staying till next monday!

Yael's husband, David is a children's book writer and his books translated in Japanese will be coming up soon!

なんと！！　ご自宅の庭にお風呂を作っているくらい日本が好きでいらっしゃるんです。

it says "YU" which means "hot water".... yes!!! they have hot tab at their back yard!!

荷物を置いて、家の中を案内してもらったら休む暇もなく丘の上にある野外劇場に演劇を観に出かける・・・
なんてとってもハードな1日でした。

18世紀のフランス劇作家が書いた恋愛コメディだったのですが、その魅せ方が本当に参考になりました。

それにしても、丘の上に信じられないくらい素敵な劇場が作り上げられているのが最高に印象的なサンフランシスコ5日目でした。
