I have just heard that Sumo Kyusyu series are being held.
Some heavy inappropriate scandals must have lost interest of many audiences.
Not only sumo wrestlers but also stuffs not related with scandals might be obliged to income decreases.
We businesspersons must keep that affair in mind as what we should not do.
As long as we respect and abide compliances and spirits of fair play, we should compete with rivals to large extents.
However we must not commit anything people or society would not agree.
Even if someone wins by foul way, some industry itself would lose trust by society and might go depressing. In this case he or she eventually loses himself or herself.
Sumo news reminded me of “ The dignity of fair play”.
大相撲九州場所が開催されていることを先ほど知りました（汗・・）
力士のみならず事件に関与しなかった関係者の所得減も余儀なくされていると思います。
これは我々ビジネスパーソンも反面教師としなければなりません。
フェアプレー、コンプライアンスに則った競争は大いに行うべきでしょうが、世間の信頼を損ねるような言動は慎まなければなりません。
それがたとえ相手に競り勝ったとしても、業界そのものが世間からの支持を失い、一気に斜陽業界になりかねません。そうなると自分で自分の首をしめたことになってしまいます。
大相撲のニュースを久々に聞いて、フェアプレーの神聖性をあらためて実感した次第です。
