Today seems to be "UFO Day"!
June 24, 1947 UFOs were witnessed for the first time in the United States.
While traveling by plane, American businessman Kenneth Arnold discovered nine unfamiliar flying objects that were plunging and climbing at speeds as high as 2700 km/h. Mr Arnold calls the object a "flying saucer," and similar eyewitnesses testify when reported in the United States. The U.S. Air Force, which emphasized the situation, named this as "UFO (Unidentified Flying Object)" and embarked on an investigation, but was unable to grasp its true identity, and in 1969 (Showa 44) "the kind of optical illusion".
