today i indulged in a childhood fantasy: going to the toy store and buying whatever I wanted. it was quite fullfilling,, if it made me feel a bit dumb, buying things meant for children.healing my inner child?

current うちの３姉妹 searches
I've got some of my archival work done, but this series seems to be a never ending whole of unpreserved media (probably because japanese copyright law is apparently stronger than here, and its a kids show so no one cares, except me)currently, my biggest priority is searching for the うちの３姉妹 映画 (movie).I have checked every avenue possible for rips but no one seems to have done it. I've looked on japanese renting sites but I really doubt my card will work on foreign services like that; so I have to wait to import a DVD, rip it, and then no one has to deal with it,, as always, if you have footage, contact me at larks1445@gmail.com. the film looks.. very strange? way different to how the anime was.the second search is for the OP used from DVD 23-27; it's different to the one used before that, and the only versions without chinese subtitles are low quality. also just in general to preserve episodes from that... anything after 42 is impossible to find.Lastly, I'm looking for the soundtrack CD with the yellow cover, as mentioned before. That probably has media that has never been uploaded online before.I hope to see you again soon 。

latest development
today I have been translating the original 2005 blog of uchi no san shimaiI've gotten past the character introductions thus far; it's not as difficult as I thought it would be, but there are always some challenges. I hope to be able to get more of it done tomorrow! ...translating it mostly just for my own enjoymentmy hand is numbじゃ！

The Search For Chi-Chan's Drawing Song
For months now, I've been looking for ちーちゃんのえかきうた; Chi's Drawing Song. It's in a difficult spot, because it's apparently in episode 128, which is probably out of the DVD's reach and therefore near impossible to find. The Korean version is accesible, it's only the japanese audio that's lost. There are currently two leads:DVD 20 (which focuses around Chi)Some soundtrack CD (which contains the japanese audio)うちの3姉妹のおんがくかいthe problem is, of course, the yellow CD is incredibly hard to find from resellers and I have no hope of there being reuploads online because apparently Japanese copyright law idk. why is it that whenever I need to find something it's never in stock i hope to recover it some day

Past few days
my first sub is finally done it took me several weeks to get all of them in english (even if there was only 9 minutes of actual content) うちの3姉妹 おかわり (uchi no san shimai okawari) (seconds) is now out there!! it took a long time to hardsub them all indiviually but I think all the effort was worth it in the end i hope to sub episode 1 soon because i have a copy of that! before the seed died... on other topics: some merchandise I own! (thanks to buyee) the ruler is really flimsy and curved but it's adorable, so I forgive it. I don't have anyone to play with the ball!! but what I really want, out of all the merchandise (グッズ) is this one: it's so cute!! it would be great as a phone charm even today!! but it never is on salee,, call me immediately if you find one to finish, yesterday's dinner: have a good day!

うちの３姉妹 (Uchi No San Shimai/ My Three Sisters)
It is my duty as the only western fan of this show to post my findings thus far here, in case anyone (no one) is interested https://ameblo.jp/3shimai/ - original 2005 blog https://ameblo.jp/pmatsumoto/ - current blog https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%81%86%E3%81%A1%E3%81%AE3%E5%A7%89%E5%A6%B9 - wikipedia pagehttps://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/3shimai/ - episode list https://mv.avex.jp/3shimai/ - promo sitehttps://youtu.be/p7DzPEVAfro - videos that will not load on that promo site28 DVD releases in total; only going up to episode 131b: this is a pain for several reasons:Episodes go much further than the last DVD provides; I'm unsure if episodes beyond that are available for purchase on any sort of store- "chi's drawing song" is pretty much lost because it was never on DVD (except for korean version) and I've been searching for it for months the "movie" (which was in some toho collection) is available for rent and dvd but I haven't been able to get my hands on it yet (one day! )Amazon Prime JP is pretty much the same as the DVDs; not that I can access it anyway. EPS 1-43 (?) are accesible but beyond that nah predictably, the torrents are dead too pretty much it for now
