Mr. Honda：But be carful, The Boa twince are in the North Jungle.
Chris：Yeah, They are nasty and very dangerous.
Diana：Take care, Niko and Carl.

Niko：We have the day of the dead in my world.
Carl：Really?!
Niko：Yeah, it's for remembering a lost loves one.
Carl：Wow, that's beautiful.

Today’s key sentence
・ There were so many pepole.
（とてもたくさんの人がいました。）

＝解説＝
複数の「人やものがいました。」と過去のことをいうときにはThere were~と表します。there wereの後には名詞の複数形やso many peopleのように複数として扱う語句を置きます。
＝例文＝
・There were many rice field here in the 20century.
（二十世紀にはここにはたくさんの田んぼがありました。）

・There were a lot of wild animals on the Island.
（その島にはたくさんの野生動物がいました。）

・There were many kinds of plants around here.
（この辺りにはたくさんの種類の植物がありました。）
