Okay, first of all, I got a cold from HELL! Some mindless coworker of mine got a cold, he came to work, coughed hid brains out, spreading stinking virus all over the office, then, gets HOSPITALIZED to treat his freaking PNEUMONIA over the weekend, comes back to work, and still coughing! He sent bunch of other coworkers to doctors. Of course, I’m not immune to stupid pneumonia!
I coughed HARD over the weekend, my neck, back, legs are sore, and the worst of all, I'M LOSING MY VOICE!!! I'm an interpreter dammit!!!! Whole lot of freaking good it does to my career.
Anyway, let me tell you what I did on Oct. 6...
Pika-chan is my blogger bud and a professional opera singer living in Berlin, Germany. Her concert in Tokyo is scheduled later this month and she flew to Tokyo last Friday. Her fan tells me she’s one of the world’s top opera singers but you don’t see a shred of arrogance in her attitude.
Shortly after I started this blog (been 2 years babe!), I was planning a party at my house, and she told me she wants to come, so I invited her over. Ever since, she comes to see me every time she’s in town. This time was no exception and we had a BBQ party!
Of course I invited bunch of other bloggers to join the fun! I met other blogger buds in foodies website, so all of them brought lots and lots of goodies!
On Oct 7...
My 'younger' coworker is into cheerleading and she had some kinda cheerleading show in a club with bunch of other teams, I went to see how she's doing. All the 'kings' and 'queens' (IOW, staff of the club or simply put, bitc*es and jer*s) got me all mad because they treated me and my other coworker and all other audiences 'not worthy'. Did I make sure that they know I'm mad!? HECK YEAH!
On Oct 8...
My older sis wanted me to check grammar of an essay written by....my nephew's classmate's father. Okay, how the heck do I fit into this picture!?!? I bet my sis won't breathe a word about me and just tell the guy she did all of it and gets all the credits for it. I know it because it happened before and it bugs the heck outta me every time!
So...You know what I did!? I checked the grammar and gave detailed description loaded with technical terms that my sis won't know for the rest of her life!!! If she says she did it, she'll just make a fool out of her self...tee-hee...
On Oct 13...
My blogger bud, Ohacchi, resident of Hawaii came to Tokyo and I threw a sushi party with other blogger buds! I'll post bilingual version of this party later!
