Jan. 29th 2012 植物園 botanical garden (九州 福岡県 福岡市 Fukuoka Fukuoka Kyushu)
ここは福岡市営の植物園です。よく手入れされた公園で、一番印象的だったのは一本のヒノキでした。普通に山にあるものが一番とは、やはり私は熊なのでしょう。自然、すごか！This is a botanical garden managed by Fukuoka-City. Jan. 26th 2012 豊後二見ヶ浦 Bungo-Futamigaura (九州 大分県 上浦町 Kamiura Oita Kyushu)
ここは「豊後二見ヶ浦」。日の出写真のメッカで有名です。でも「豊後」と接頭語をつけないといけないことを初めて知りました。三重県の二見ヶ浦と混同を避けるためでしょう。九州、すごか！This is "Bungo-Futamigaura" here. It's famous for a mecca of the photoes of sun-rising. Jan. 22nd 2012 平塚川添遺跡 Remains of Hiratsuka-Kawasoe (九州 福岡県 朝倉市 Asakura Fukuoka Kyushu)

Jan. 20th 2012 真珠養殖 pearl farming (九州 大分県 佐伯市 Saiki Oita Kyushu)

Jan. 19th 2012 黒川温泉 Kurokawa-Hotspring (九州 熊本県 南小国町 Minamioguni Kumamoto Kyushu)
今まで80回は素通りしていた日本一の呼び声の高い温泉地「黒川温泉」を訪れました。写真は名前に違和感を感じるが温泉卵の無人売り場。全体的に「これは儲かっている」と頷ける温泉街でした。九州、すごか！I visited a hot spring town "Kurokawa hot spring" called the No.1 in Japan, which I passed by as much as 80 times so far. This photograph feels a sense of discomfort in the name, but a deserted shop of the hot spring eggs. It was the hot spring-town which I could accept that "this area is profitable". Kyushu, the Great!

Jan. 16th 2012 マングローブ北限の地 The northern limit area of manbrove (九州 鹿児島県 鹿児島市 Kagoshima Kagoshima Kyushu)

Jan. 13th 2012 漁場 fishing area (九州 大分県 佐伯市 Saiki Oita Kyushu)
昨晩から今朝未明にかけて約７時間漁船に乗っていた。漁場は宮崎・高知・大分の県境だ。ご覧のように漁場は漁火が競い合っていた。海、すごか！I had been taking on a fishing vessel from last night before dawn today. The fishing area was about on the border of Miyazaki, and Kochi and Oita prefecture. Many fishing lights were vying each other as you see. Sea, the Great!

Jan. 12th 2012 葛原浦 Kazuharaura (九州 大分県 蒲江町 Kamae Oita Kyushu)

Jan. 10th 2012 大砲 artillery (九州 佐賀県 佐賀市 Saga Saga Kyushu)
肥前藩と言えば、明治維新の影の力持ち。明治新政府の大久保利通がその台頭を恐れた藩です。理由は佐賀が大砲キヤノン砲の製造地である点です。佐賀神社に証拠があります。アームストロング砲はイギリス製なので念のため。九州、すごか！Speaking of Hizen feudal clan, it is a strong and modest clan during the Meiji Restoration. Jan. 8th 2012 粟島神社 Awashima-Shrine (九州 大分県 米水津村 Yonozu Oita Kyushu)
米水津（よのうづ）村（現佐伯市）の守護神粟島神社のお祭りは本日です。前年男の子を授かるとご覧のように日章旗に記名されて神社に奉納されるのが習わしです。九州、すごか！The festival of the guardian deity of Awa-shima Shrine shrine in Yonouzu(よのうづ) village (Saiki-City) is today. Jan. 5th 2012 通潤橋 Tsujyun-Bridge (九州 熊本県 山都町 Yamato Kumamoto Kyushu)
通潤橋。灌漑のためにわざわざ大きな橋の建設が江戸時代必要でした。今では見世物として現役です。橋上はご覧のように手すりがなくスリルある散歩が楽しめます。九州、すごか！The Tsujun-Bridge. The construction of the big bridge was necessary for irrigation especially in Edo era.
