May 9th (May 8th local time) Diamondbacks vs Dodgers

All of Shohei Ohtani's at bats

First at bat: Liner to center field

Second at bat: Fly to left field

Third at bat: Grounder to second base

Fourth at bat: Strikeout

And then, with four at bats and no hits, it was time for the top of the ninth inning. There were two outs and no runners on base.

*The subtitles say "137km/h slider high and in the middle," but this should actually be "154km/h straight ball high and in the middle."

With the count at 3-2, Ginkel hit the seventh pitch, a 154km/h straight ball high and in the middle, into the center field stands, for his 11th home run with a hit speed of 181.7km/h and a distance of about 130m.

As a recent trend, the direction of the ball has been heading towards center field, which is a sign of good form.

11 home runs at this time of year is faster than last year's pace.
