Maxwell turned 4months old on the 24th. He is getting really chubby and weighs 16 pounds. His thing now is observing things so intensely, like fingers. And he loves to coo and squeal everytime somebody pay attention to him and talk.
Nile is in his terrible 2 stage. Doesn't like to sit on his potty, and having hard time being consistant about training. But his speech is getting really clear now.
Melody is going to kindergarten and made lots of new girlfriends. She had her Halloween parade at her school. Kids get out the school and parade around the block. I was pretty inpressed a lot of children in different costumes. We had to look around for costumes for this party tomorrow. I don't know if I want to go, since I have to get baby sitter. Grandma has no problem watching baby, and maybe Nile. But three kids are bit too much I think. I would like to go out and celebrate, but I realize the moment we pick them up at night, I have to deal with some of them waking up, fussing. When it was just Melody and Nile, I didn't mind. But juggling three is a tough act.
After the baby I didn't even have to diet. I lost weight and even got lighter than pre-pregnancy weight. Only difference I feel nowadays is when I lose weight, I feel fearful that my skin might start sagging. when I compare to my 20's, now I feel like shrinking balloon.
I wanted to wear costume, too.
They cost like almost $50 or so, and you can't wear it next year or nothin'. I was looking at some sexy kinds, but then, the party we are invited over is at Wadee's brother's house. His brother is sure to tease me about it, I'm sure. Baby is going to be a bear. Halloween is a weird Holiday. Unexpected people suddenly appear in costumes. I had become Esmeralda (Hunchback of Notre Dame) and Playboy bunny before. That was when I was still single. Wadee always keep saying every year he wants to be a Geenie (Aladdin). We went to this wearhouse of discount costume store. Wadee didn't like it there, but I got really excited because they had so many different kind of costumes. They looked more well-made and tailored. I found this 50's looking coat and it was 50% off of $25. It was black and very thick, and sooooo heavy. I have to carry lots of heavy things, so I figure it would not be a good idea to add any more heaviness on myself. But all over, they had masks, dresses and animal mascot outfit etc... Only thing was that most of the merchandise were very soiled.
That kinda turned me off, and as soon as I got back in our car, I whipped out my germ killer gel and ordered everybody to rub it in their hands. That's my prevention for this flu season. I don't know what to do if my kids get flu. Three kids, plus most likely Wadee brings in the flu every winter. He doesn't eat right and smokes cigarettes. God made me way stronger than Wadee. Mommy can't be sick even one day. Unless I stay in a hospital, I would not get any rest in this house.
That is why I am going CRAZY around here, but they are my kids....I love them!! I feel Wadee feels the same way. "Anything for the kids" is what we agreed. We are looking at buying a house maybe next year. Kids' first own rooms, pets and tree house. All these goals keep me sane.
