We went shopping to the town centre. She had been there with Carolyn lots of time， but it was the first time ever with Mummy. She knew a lot about the town. As soon as we got to the drugstore she said “I am so hungry， I want to go to McDonald.” As soon as we got to McDonald， she said “I need to go to the toilette.” Carolyn apparently uses the toilette at McDonald as the public toillet at the town centre is very inconvinient. After the toillet， I bought Happy Meal for her. I was going to take it away and have on the bench outside， but she found seats untaken and sat down. “How about yours?” “Mummy doesn’t want.” “Tomato sauce?” “I’ll get it now.” She knew every thing very well. I was very happy to watch her enjoying her meal. She was so cute that I wanted to eat her.

ぱなっちと街へ買い物に出掛けた。ぱなっちが物事が分かるようになってからは初めて。ぱなっちはカロリンとはいつも街に出掛けているので、なんでもよくご存知だ。ドラッグ・ストアが目的地だったのだが、すぐに「お腹が空いた。マクドナルドに行きたい。」と言う。“マクドナルド”の発音はもちろん“マクダナル”と、とってもよろしい。マックに入ると「トイレに行かなくちゃ。」と言う。この街の公衆トイレはとっても不便なので、カロリンはいつもここに連れてきているものと思われる。トイレを済ませて、ハッピー・ミールを買った。外のベンチで食べようと思っていたが、ぱなっちが空いている席を見つけて、そこにちょこんと座ったので、中で食べることにした。「マミーのは？」「マミーはいらないよ。」「ケチャップは？」「あ、今もらってくるね。」なんでもよく知ってるね。おいしそうに食べてるぱなっちを見てたら、あんまりにもかわいくて、食べちゃいたくなったよ。
