Before coming to Japan, I was really worried about my staying somewherethat I didn't knowthem. When I met Yoko's friend the day gefore going to their home, I got completely sure that I have one of the best Japanese family as my host family. The first night party in the home of one of the hippo family members is my best memory. I had the best opportunily to learn Japenese language and tradition and also had opportunity to introduce my country tradition and languge to them. Tank you again! by Roxsana
Thank you again for the great weekend, arigato gozaimasu! David
I had a wonderful time staying with the Sato family and meeting their friends at the Hippo club. They made me feel so welcome. The parties with the Hippo club were a lot of fun, and it made me happy to see the children learning and having fun.
I especially liked seeing Kamakura and trying so many foods. I'm very grateful for the Sato family's effort to show me new things. I really liked trying soba, sushi, homemade okonomiyaki, dango, sweet potato ice cream, and a Japanese breakfast (including natto!).
It is great that everyone in Hippo helps their children learn new languages. I wish that more people took this approach.
