「Even though the extreme heat has robbed the 2003 Paleo (100% Cabernet Franc) of some its varietal aromatics it is unquestionably one of the vintage’s successes. Plump and juicy, it presents attractive suggestions of super-ripe dark fruit, sweet toasted oak and minerals with outstanding length and plenty of personality. Over the last few months this wine has continued to improve, integrating its tannins and gaining greater focus. It should drink well relatively early. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2015.
