トム・ド・サヴォワ Tomme de Savoie は硬めのチーズ。皮は捨て、中身を薄切りで味わうのが風流。冷蔵庫で保存。結構長持ちしますので少しづつ出しては食べます。くせがなく、口の中で芳香豊かに味わえます。サヴォワ地方は一度行きましたが、緩やかな山々に放牧された牛たちがのんびりと過ごし、山の地平線に牛の姿が見えた時はさすがに驚きました。フランス人に愛されるチーズの一つです。
Have you ever tasted Mozzarella cheese ? It tastes so good with sliced tomatoes and basil. Of course, with olive oils,vinegar, salt and pepper. I had once met a Japanese friend in Paris. She told me that the first time she saw Mozzarella cheese, she thought it was TOFU,so she bought it, ate it, realised it was not a TOFU but a very tasteful cheese.
My husband was in Napoli recently.
He said that a true Mozzarella is produced only in Napoli region.
