がっかりしていたところにColdPlay来日公演の話しを耳にしました。
ColdplayはポストU2といわれる英国のバンド。
さっそく日程を調べたら、ちょうど都合のいい日程で、しかも
場所は大阪。ちょうどいい！
実はその週末は私は神戸に帰省することになっている。
なぜかというと、今年は父の還暦を祝う週末だから。
迷わず、チケットを妹の分も入手。
U2は私が妹に薦めて聴きだすようになるうちにファンになったのだけれど

しかも、妹の誕生日は8月。
まぁ、1ヶ月早いけれど誕生日プレゼントにしてやろうと実は思っている。
現在、英国での学会に行っており、このサプライズを知らない妹。
きっと驚くだろうな。驚く声を聞くのが今から楽しみだ！

The U2 concert that I was looking forward to see was cancelled
and I'll get my money back.
And I was a bit down, when I heard that Coldplay will be coming to
Japan to do some shows.
Coldplay is a British band also known to be post U2 band.
I looked through the internet to see when and where will they be playing.
It was a good date for me and they'll be playing in Osaka then.

60th birthday. This was a plan made since last year.
So I bought tickets for my sister,too.
My sister became a U2 fan after I reccomended her U2.
But I became a Coldplay fan after she had reccomended me.
And my sister's birthday is in August.

will be her birthday ticket.
Right now, she is attending a confrence in the UK and she doesn't know
that Coldplay will come to Japan.
It'll be a big surprise for her.
I can't wait to hear her surprise voice!
