When I was talking to my mom last night, she told me that she took Tennessee to the vet. At this time of the year, we take the dog to the vet for an annual check-up and to ask the vet to prescribe the Filaria pills. Filaria is a heart worm for dogs. The dog can get Filaria by mosquito bites. When Filaria enters the body of a dog, it grows and can lead to death by heart diseases. So it's a very scary illness for dogs. Because the mosqitoes comes out in the summer, the dog starts taking prescribed pills once every month from the beginning of summer till the beginning of autumn. Tennessee started taking his pills from yesterday. Now he is ready for summer!
