Naoki has been trained on the Junko Onishi Trio tour also, so we introduced Naruyoshi Kikuchi's live performance comment during the <<80th Anniversary Concert-Wayne Shorter 4/Orchard Hall 2014/04/14>> Wayne Shorter's debut, which became a high priest through each year, is done every song every year. “What do you listen to without listening to this?” can be quoted as “Naoki Takahashi's debut through many hell tours” is also done every song every year. 1st show included mainly JAZZ standard songs. TOKU・HISA session standard ``1.Fee-Fi-Fo-Fun-By Wayne Shorter'', ``3.The Nearness of You-By Hoagy Carmichael'' 《2020 Jul 4th David Bryant (pf) Quintet 2nd Set@ "2.Perceptual-By Jon Cowherd", which was also played at "Body & Soul", and "4. Milestone". Groove on "4. Milestone" was awesome and I felt it was the best play I've heard in 2020.
2nd show consisted of the member's original song Only. "6. Reliquiae old thing-By David Bryant" is also a song played by 2020 Jul 4th David Bryant (pf) Quintet 2nd Set@Body & Soul》. Based on their experiences two days ago, the play took a step up.
“7.Shouga Aru -By Marty Holoubek" is a beautiful song that reminds me of a nostalgic British Folklore.
The last two songs are "8. Be Careful" and "9. Closing" from TOKU's new album "TOKU in Paris". It was fun to hear the secret story about the album and the jacket photo shoot.

直希君は大西順子トリオのツアーでも鍛えられているので、 << 80th Anniversary Concert-Wayne Shorter4/オーチャードホール 2014/04/14>> の際の菊地成孔さんのライブ紹介「数々の地獄巡りを経て高僧に達したウエイン・ショーターのデビューは毎年、毎曲ごとに行われるのである。これを聴かずに何を聴くか」を引用させてもらえば、「数々の地獄巡りを経た高橋直希のデビューは毎年、毎曲ごとに行われるのである。これを聴かずに何を聴くか」と思った。直希君の今日のドラミングはとても楽しそうだったので、地獄ではなく天国のように見えたが。
1stはJAZZスタンダード中心。TOKU・HISAセッションの定番「1.Fee-Fi-Fo-Fun - By Wayne Shorter」、「3.The Nearness of You-By Hoagy Carmichael」に 《2020 Jul 4th デビッド・ブライアント(pf)クィンテット 2nd Set@Body & Soul》 でも演奏された「2.Perceptual-By Jon Cowherd」と「4.Milestone」。「4.Milestone」のGrooveは物凄く、2020年に聴いた中で随一のプレイと感じた。
2ndはメンバーのオリジナル曲Onlyで構成された。「6.Reliquiae 古いモノ-By David Bryant」も 2020 Jul 4th デビッド・ブライアント(pf)クィンテット 2nd Set@Body & Soul》 で演奏された曲。2日前の経験を踏まえて、さらにステップアップ。「7.Shouga Aru しょうがある-By Marty Holoubek」は何故か懐かしい英国のFolkloreを思わせる美しい曲。
ラスト2曲はTOKUさんの新アルバム「TOKU in Paris」から「8.Be Careful」、「9.Closing」。アルバム、ジャケット写真の撮影秘話などもお聞き出来て、楽しかった。
