今日はHolly Coleさんのカルテットを聴きにBLUE NOTE TOKYOに参上！
今日の2nd ShowがHolly ColeさんのLast Showなのでセットリストも記す。
お隣に座った方は3/7 fri. 2nd Showにも来られたそうで、何とその2nd Showでは代表曲「Calling You」の歌唱がなかったらしい。アンコールで「Everyday Will Be Like A Holiday」のソロパートが長すぎて、時間切れだったようだ。
今日はアンコール曲の順番を変えて「Calling You」をアンコールの1曲目、「Everyday Will Be Like A Holiday」をアンコールの2曲目に。無事「Calling You」を聴きすることが出来た。

10.Shiver Me Timbers - Tom Waitsの1974年の名曲。海への想いと家族・友人との別れの寂寥感が滲む。John Johnson(cl)。cl+ベースのアルコから。Hollyさんが大西洋に面するカナダのHalifax, Nova Scotia生まれで海への想いが強いのでこの曲がお好きでセレクト。
