今日はとてもとても嬉しいニュースがありました！

フリーで通訳や翻訳の仕事をしている親友が、望んでいたとおりの道を切り開きました。

本当に、本当におめでとう。

色んなことがあったので、このニュースを聞いて私自身もとても嬉しくなりました。

うまく表現できなくてもどかしいんだけど、
悩んだり時には立ち止まったりしながらも、少しずつでも着実に、力強く前進する彼女を見ていて
勇気付けられました。

Zillions of Congrats!  You so deserve this.  Honestly speaking, it is very sad that I won't get to see you easily once your school starts.  I will definitely miss you.  But I guess all the hard times, efforts -- everything is paying off and it is time to move on.  Things are rolling!  So, I am very, VERY happy for you, and I am so proud of you.  I just cannot believe you'll be gone for a while... 

But, as spoken, let's have a toast first and then have our "golden" time;)  And, you know I'll come visit you even if you don't invite me;P  Ew, I don't like myself for not coming up with some cool, nice words/phrases for you...  Gomen ne.
