We had a big earthquake in Japan and we would still need to be careful about other earthquakes to happen. Most trains and buses started to run again, but some people are worried about not being able to get in touch with people in Tohoku region, Northern part of Japan. Most TV channels focus on the topics about the earthquake today. They tell us about the number of people who died by the earthquake and the information to evacuate from Tsunami. Also, they give us the information of people who are O.K. and they want to look for their family members who live in Tohoku regions.
Today, my plan has been changed, because of the earthquake that occurred on March 11th. I was supposed to go to English school to take a level check and take a test for translation, but the schedule has been canceled. I knew this information by looking at the website of the school. I was little disappointed about not being able to take the tests today. The tests will be rescheduled on the next week.
So, I would study for Eiken exam at home today. I am listening to the English programs that are produced by NHK radio. I am listening to two programs. One is Practical Business English and the other is Introductory Business English. One the advantage of listening to the programs is that my listening skill could be improved. Since I have not been studying English at English conversation school for many months, my listening and speaking abilities are gradually weakened everyday. (260 words)
