軽井沢を訪れるのは、学生時代にサークルの夏合宿で、社会人になってから日帰りゴルフで来たのに続き３回目となります。
ゴルフは11日から国内女子トーナメントの大会が行われている軽井沢72ゴルフ場でプレイしました。
ロケーションが最高で気持ちよくプレイしたのを覚えています。
その時は先輩のクルマに乗せてもらったので、自分で運転したのは今回が始めてとなります。
不慣れな土地でもカーナビで音声案内してもらえるので、迷うことなく宿泊するペンションに着くことができました。
部屋数が少なくこじんまりしていますが、オーナーの方がいい人で温かみが感じられる居心地のよさそうなペンションでした。
夕食まで2時間ぐらい間があったので、大型ショッピングモールとして有名なにクルマではなくバスで行きました。まわりの景色を楽しみたかったので。
それにしても広いですね。端から端まで歩いたら15分は掛かります。ゆっくり買い物したらゆうにまる１日かかりそうな感じです。
ちょうど各ショップ、夏物の売りつくしセールを行っていて凄く賑わっていました。
これだけお店があるので、入念に下調べしてから買い物すれば、他では手に入らない超レア物をゲットできそうな感じです。
宿に戻ってから、しばらくして夕食の時間になり、ダイニングに集まりました。
スープ、サラダ、お魚、鳥肉、デザートのケーキとペンションのオリジナルメニューは満足できる味でした。
さすが避暑地だけに夜になると昼の暑さがうそのように涼しく感じられます。
近くを流れる川のせせらぎが耳に心地よく、なんとなく落ち着きます。
おかげでゆっくり睡眠がとれました。
