トヨタ自動車は、北米においてレクサス4車種に一部改良を加えるとともに、車両価格を値上げすると発表しました。
今回値上げが発表されたのは、“SC430”、“LX570”（日本名：ランドクルーザー）、“GX470”（プラド）、“RX”（ハリアー／ハリアーハイブリッド）の4車種。
米国に右にならえで、日本のレクサスも値上げすることになるのでしょうか。
そうなるとますます販売不振に拍車がかかりそうですね。

トヨタ・モーター・セールスU.S.A.は、レクサス・ブランド4車種の2009年モデルの米国におけるメーカー希望小売価格を改定した。
今回の価格改定は、円高や原材料価格高騰による生産および輸送コストの増加が理由。対象車種はSC430、LX570、GX470、RX400hの4車種となっている。
SC430は、新たにウインカー内蔵ドアミラーが標準となり、従来に対して0.7％、金額にして450ドル（約4万9000円）高の6万6805ドル（約721万円）からとなった。LX570は新ボディカラーが追加されたほか、ラグジュアリーパッケージがオプション設定され、従来の1.3％、1005ドル（約10万8500円）高となる7万5705ドル（約817万円）からとなっている。
