マイナーチェンジから１年が経過するＧＳに恒例の小改良が施され、10月1日から発売を開始しました。
新しい変更点がプライバシーガラスの新採用です。
これは濃色フィルムの装着を依頼する購入者が多いことから、思い切って標準化が決定されたようです。
この他、カードキーの採用や室内照明の輝度アップ、センタークラスタースイッチの英語表記（オプション）、ＶＳＣインジケーターの変更も同時に行われました。
さらにハイブリッドはトランク容量を拡大すべく、バッテリー搭載位置が見直されて奥行きが５ｃｍ増えました（容量は２０リットルアップ）。

レクサスは、GSを一部改良してレクサス店を通じ、10月1日から発売を開始した。
今回の改良では、プライバシーガラス（リヤドア、リヤウインドウ）や、LSなどで好評のカードキーの標準設定、室内照明の照度をアップしたほか、センタークラスタースイッチの英語表記をオプションで選択可能とした。
また、GS450hでは、バッテリー位置などの変更により、ラゲージルームの容量を拡大（最大で40リットル）し、利便性を高めている。
