今の子供たちにおくりたい言葉です。
原文のニュアンスを壊したくないので、和訳は載せないことにしました。
（こちらにいらっしゃる方はほとんど英語関係の方だと思いますし）
Godはキリスト教の神に限らず、神聖な存在と捉えることができるかと思います。
中学生の授業で取り上げたいくらいです。
中学生教えていませんが。。。
英語原文：
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
We ask to ourselves,
"Who am I to be so brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?"
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that the people won't feel insecure around you.
We are born to manifest the glory of the God that's within us.
It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone.
And as we let our light to shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

そうですね。
そんなこと中々思えません。
でも、自分を大切にすることは誰にでもできますよね。
自分を大切にすることが実は周りを照らすことになる、、、素敵だなあ、と思いました。
「いつも喜んでいなさい」
いつも喜びを感じられる心の状態を保ちなさいということかしら？ なかなか難しいと思うけれど、それも自分の気持ちひとつでしょうか。
すぐにできなくても、心がけることはできますものね。
