Since Aoki joined Toshiki Kadomatsu 's back-up band in 1982 , he played the bass at every concert and almost all albums of Kadomatsu. (See Jun. 16, 2007)
And not only the musicians but also fans placed reliance highly on him.
This album was co-produced by Kadomatsu and released from the label established by Kadomatsu.
So the songs are pop and the color of Kadomatsu back then is shown throughout the album.
At the same time, " Mr. J.F.P. " -dedicated to Jaco Pastorius- and " Risa
From 1993 to 1998 , Kadomatsu stopped his work as a singer.
As a result, Aoki performed with wider range of people during " freeze ".
And in 2000 , making the most of his personal connections, he recorded his second album " Experience ". (See Dec. 7, 2006)
When I heard that one of the songs in this album was sang by Aoki, I realized that I couldn't recall his voice although I had met him at the concert of FOUR of a KIND. (See Jun. 11, 2007)
So when I finally made a resolve and got this CD, I listened to " With A Little Help From My Friends " first of all.
I felt sorrowful, but rather glad to hear his voice again -that was my honest feeling.
