Lower House was dissolved on July 21
August 30
, officially commenced on August 18
.
But election fight had already started before the dissolution -or may possibly after the current cabinet was inaugurated .
Various evaluations about the current government aside, one of the things made me angry was: They abandoned various bills including one intended to protect human rights of women and children.
I couldn't help suspecting that they were toying with laws as a tool of power struggles, neglecting the people.
One thing I can appreciate is: The end of August is almost the end of summer vacation and many families could be at home, so the voting rate could rise compared to the middle of August.
To qualified voters: Be sure to vote at upcoming Lower House election -for your own sake.

To candidates: Please fight the campaign fair and square, NOT cheating and speaking ill of each other, nor slander fight.
-And - DON'T disturb students studying -and when I'm composing at home.
