kimagure
" means moody and flightiness -this word is used more often as negative description, but with this band name " Kimaguren
", the duo of ISEKI
and KUREI
express their freewheelingness.Some songs and ISEKI's guitar performance might remind us of " Life is Water " by Sim Redmond Band .
They are inspired by various music -reggae, hip-hop, Latin music, rock music.
The theme of their songs are "Three L's - Love + Life + Local ".
They mainly sing about friendship -such as " Ganbare robo " (more power to you) and " By Your Side ",
And straight love -such as " SUKI " (I like you) .
They started a seaside club with live music in Zushi in 2005 .
This summer, Toshiki Kadomatsu is performing at this place again. (About him: See Dec. 17, 2009)
-A concert at a seaside live house would be a perfect setting for Kadomatsu who often performs songs with stories set in sea and sky, isn't it?
Also, the songs of Kimaguren would be a perfect setting for summer.
This summer, we can enjoy their performance at various open-air concerts.
