1. (See Feb. 26, 2013 first)I doubt if the current economic policy really works. From the viewpoint of employers, it's not so difficult to imagine that they would be reluctant to raise salary.Although gradually more and more companies raise salary, many of those companies raise bonus. And it seems most of part-timers wouldn't be benefitted. If the only prices rise while salaries don’t rise, it's only large companies that are benefited.Besides, tax is raised and due to depreciation of yen, electricity bills and gas are going to be raised, and also the price of wheat and other imported food is rising.Surely, politicians actually controlling the society are usually not broke, so they wouldn't get damaged by price increase -am I being jaundiced?Long time ago, I remember seeing a newspaper article that everyday-life experience on minimum wedge should be obliged to candidates for politician.-What? Are they telling me to resign myself to work to pay tax for their profits without grumbling about this and that?I suppose what I must do is to be a worker who can earn enough by job I want to do, and keep an eye on politics so that I can make right decision at upcoming next election...2. My mother is a high-school teacher.I could also have chosen to become a teacher as a secure job -maybe English -but I didn't.I'm not sure if my choice was right or wrong... Anyway;Since when I was a student till now, various changes of education system took place. As a student, I was swayed by the change of entrance examination system. After I grew up, I saw mother deplore and complain when there were discussions and changes of education system and policies.Actually, more and more teachers -especially younger generation- suffer from mental disease -one of the seniors at my college used to be the one.I feel like suspecting that members of education board are bickering on board and papers and swaying schools without seeing the reality,Then I'd like to reproach them to go to school site out of conference room and try standing in front of children.(See also Jul. 26, 2012)3. I forgot to place it two weeks ago -or I couldn't translate in time:I hate to tell this -but come to think of it, unfortunately, no wonder the reconstruction delays:There seems to be such a large perception gap between the people at the spot facing the reality, and the highest functionaries behind closed door.◇:Ready to place translation if asked

First of all- I'm placing again that finding fault with others is foolproof and proof of foolishness.I'd like to suggest that it would be wiser to avoid poking your nose into groups and places where people enjoy bullying and finding fault with each other, or there is never good.1. (See Mar. 25, 2012 and Jan. 27, 2013) I'd like to reprove -or ask people busily exchanging slanders in the neighboring peninsular country and our country whether they are happy running down each other. If they are feeling disgusted against each other so much, how about stop getting involved with each other from the beginning? As many people have already realized, if there is no use trying to admonish aggravating people, it's best to keep away from them for the sake of emotional hygiene, and it has been proved scientifically.-Me? For the sake of a few people from this country getting along well together with people around me, I'd better to avoid holding bad impression about this country anymore -does that make an excuse I make such a proposal? So I was glad that those two countries didn't face at the latest world championship meet of baseball, regardless which country won; Recently, when those two countries face at sports meets, off-the-field disputes and struggles are blatant -even online and by media Needless to say about violations of sportsmanship such as done at a soccer game of the latest Olympic.-Well, well, well... come to think of it, I realized I've tried several times to root for certain sports teams and athletes, never to last.Instead, I'm a fan of my favorite band for seventeen years, though.Back to the main story- In the first place, both sides must have business of each to mind:Our country should have been busy for reconstruction from the earthquake disaster for more than two years, preparation against natural disasters, employment issue, and so on.And the neighboring peninsular country should be occupied with problems about cease-fire agreement between northern half and southern half which is about to be destroyed; basically, since this pact is between them, they have responsibility for the pact, don't they? 2. Whatever the real fact of remote-operated computers incident, the first urgent business is to restore honor of people arrested by mistake, needless to say.At the same time... at least in three of the cases, the computers got virus-infected by accessing and downloading virus-infected software from the same web page.Virus infection from this web page is nothing new, isn't it?I've heard this web page in question is usually filled with abuses and slanders. Is it an illogical jump to suspect such places with mishmash of coarseness attract virus and various neither-fish-nor-fowl threats?

(One year ago) Half year after a massive earthquake destroyed vast area of eastern Japan and atomic power plants, I went to a trip with a group of new friends, and one of the members was from a stricken prefecture. (See Dec. 17, 2011) Back then, this friend suffered from posttraumatic stress disorder due to the earthquake disaster and atomic power accident.Fortunately, I was glad to see this friend recovered during we were enjoying the trip together. But unfortunately, bluntly speaking, sometimes I feel like doubting if the stricken prefecture would be restored-just by watching the sluggish reconstruction due to political chaos forgetting attention to people at the spot. The strongest proof is the fact that gradually less and less evacuated people wish to return to their residence.Whichever there is a hope evacuated people can return to their home town or not aside... I think the main problem is people at the stricken area and evacuated people are obliged prolonged temporary dwelling. If there were no returning to their home town and they had to give up returning to their home town in the end, this would have to be shown clearly:Then they could make a fresh start; they would need a new field of life, and it would be rather more positive. I couldn't help recalling a newspaper article on the New Year that an evacuated family saying that they suspect the government and the electric power company in problem must be waiting evacuated people get tired and resigned. We might need to apologize if we are not responding enough to various supports from all over the world for the past two years... Surely, there are various evaluations, but I think this is a great musical movie.I'd like to praise the actress who acted the poor mother prostitute and won an honorable prize. After French Revolution, people's life never seemed to improve, and the society went back to Imperial rule. And people's life still never seems to improve, and another revolution occurs. But due to indifference of people, this revolution ends up in failure. As I looked over about this movie before grappling with this composition, I was relieved to find that it was not only me who was reminded of the series of changes of government by this movie:After former ruling party won a landslide victory, the politics in our country became more chaotic and the current ruling party regained the administration-although I'm not sure what is coming next after the current ruling party regained the administration. So far, sometimes hopes for the current government rises, and sometimes suspects rises that all they care for is the next election as is the often cases:From the week one since the current ruling party is back to the administration, they place a countdown of the days until the upcoming Upper House election.Incidentally- I didn't know that the former ruling party that lost power at the latest Lower House election hadn't have official platform until I heard the news about their latest party convention.Different from the age of French Revolution, now it's not age of revolution with violence-except for the struggle over a security pact; although even my parents didn't experience it.I occasionally hear that the generation who experienced the struggle over a security pact remember fondly of their struggle and complain that the younger generation is apathetic-but I also hear that our generation talking back that older generation who joined the struggle were just following suit without understanding its true intention.Whatever...Fortunately, at least in our country and many other countries, now we have election system and we can declare intention about politics. But why did so many people abstain from voting at such an important election last December? If there is something I can say for the current ruling party back to the administration, I just hope they learned a lesson while they were thrown out of power.-Otherwise, people might be completely disappointed and lose interested in politics. What if this is the very object of the part of the politicians? And what if some politicians intend to make people work too busily to think of politics? As is already said, apathetic people are easy to control and convenient for governors. Many people who abstained from voting say that there is nobody they feel like voting.I understand what they feel -but why don't they realize that they might be playing into the authority who care for only profits for themselves?(See also Jul. 6, 2012)◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

It would be nothing new again, but there turned out to be people who take advantage of atomic power accident and polluted area, and squeeze out profits and illegal money. It might sound like superficial sense of justice, but such people think other workers in subcontractors and evacuated people not as people but source of revenue, don't they? And as I had been afraid, it turned out that they were carrying out corner-cutting decontamination -such as draining the decontamination water into the river.-But on the second thought, it could be easy but misdirected to blame people working at the spot. In the first place, quite frankly, I've wondered whether the decontamination work itself is practical; such vast area and there is no seeing the radioactive and no knowing where is safe and where is dangerous. Most of all, this accident has been far from termination-while the second day of 3.11 earthquake is coming next month. So far, I'm concerned about harmful influence of air-pollution in neighboring continent country. But I'm also concerned that what if such fraudulences in our country give them an excuse for talking back that we are being a pot calling the kettle black-Already, they arbitrary shift the blame for air pollution in their country to our country.Again... someone, will you say something to both countries please!?I expect that reproach from countries using alphabet languages could be more persuasive. 1. I realized last December -the display of English section on this weblog is peculiar. When an English word comes to the end of the line and doesn't fit in the end of the line, the word is usually displayed from the next beginning of the line. But on this weblog, the word is divided.I suspect that this can be a problem of my setting of this weblog -but I've wondered that this weblog might be assumed to be used only with our language... So far, excuse me for illegible weblog.2. Recently, have you ever seen or heard that neighboring peninsular country claiming that various things are originated from this country? At first, this seemed to be their rivalry against our country -but later, they began to mention about things from other Asian countries and even Europe. If you feel indignation to hear this...this feeling is never blamed. As for this, I'd just like to reprove them to realize the vanity of measuring the value only by comparison and competition against others -as one of the former patients of psychotic depression who used to make the same mistake ten years ago. At individual level, sometimes there are people who always want to excel than others in even every trifling thing and always compete against others, aren't they?Even if you measure your value by competition and comparison against others, such value is fickle.Such state of mind is said to come from inferiority complex and even lead to premature death.I've heard that our country have been said to have culture which greatly concerns about appearances, but I've also read that the neighboring peninsular country have culture that concern about appearances even more. What if this relates with higher suicide late in this country than our country...it's rubbish to compare such a thing, though.3. So far, I'm not suffering hay fever, but sometimes yellow sand causes similar symptoms of similar to hay fever to me every spring. There is a prevailing view that yellow sand comes from desert of the neighboring continent country, and contaminated with pollution substance from urban industrial area of this country. But they didn't show intention to cooperate in survey of yellow sand. But for the past few months, a series of news about severe air pollution in this country have come up.If people in our country including me and other countries suffer from respiratory disease due to polluted yellow sand from this country again...the neighboring countries wouldn't let them keep their head in the sand. Now it's not only by polluted yellow sand this country is nuisance -and it's not only our country that are troubled. The harmful influence of environmental disruption affects not only our country:In the country which is south from this continent country, the river ran dry due to dam construction.-What? Do you say that I should mind our own business?Alright, alright -if I mention this, this diary will be too long, which is a burden both to readers and writer. As for this, I'm grappling with another 10-line.◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

I typed this manuscript before the day of 1.17.I witnessed 1.17 earthquake in Kobe, although I cannot mention about things except for what I saw and remember; back then I was a child, not in age but in social status.(One year ago)I came to the city destroyed by 1.17 earthquake several years after the earthquake disaster, and I witnessed the reconstruction while I lived in this city. Now the city looks like remarkably reconstructed -but at the same time, there is a fact we must ask what about the rebuilding of people's lives.Unfortunately, our country was under political chaos when 3.11 earthquake hit vast area of eastern Japan. It sounds like affairs of other people to say it's no use crying over spilled milk, though. But now, are we going on to the appearance reconstruction leaving lives of people at the spot behind while the towns and cities are restored?Or are we working on reconstruction in both materially and spiritually?Since two years are passing, it's about time to define.(See Nov. 4, 2012)I realized that it's one month since the new administration came up after Lower House election. The Lower House election was a very important election to decide which way to direct the reconstruction. Then, qualified voters who didn't vote cannot complain even if they were accused that they abandoned the stricken areas, can they?(December 2012)◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

It's NOT about Shakespere. It's New Year holiday season. There must be various special TV programs, but one of the certain ways parents can make their children rebel and hate studying is to keep nagging at children to study while they leave TV on as children study at home.As a child's -or daughter's perspective, I had similar experience. (Previous) For recent three years, I watch TV at most two hours a week.Because I have various else to do in real life at home, NOT because TV is boring and ridiculous. If TV providers side insist themselves as source of information, what if we set a criterion that programs worth watching is programs we watch taking note?Except for news -news programs are intended as information programs from the beginning. And movies -few people in movie theaters would take note. For example-If you're looking for witty joke so that you can improve smart conversation, you can find materials and hints from comedy programs. When you watch suspense thriller dramas, you can enjoy solution with detectives by writing down the course of events and characters, and it's good mind exercise.-Sophistry? Surely, not so many people would watch many of TV programs like this way...-Me? Now all I afford to watch regularly except for news are two music programs, and I write down the songs and musicians on programs I watch so that I can keep up with time.Back to the story... if TV providers side insist themselves as source of information, why don't they create programs worth as information source? If viewers think of TV as source of information, why don't you treat TV like this instead of idling away your time in front of it?If TV providers side insist themselves as entertainers, at least why don't they stop aggravating bullies by programs that enjoy bullying people, and stop broadcasting programs inappropriate for children at dinnertime?Or they might not be able to complain if TV were called as rumor mill, dummy mill, or time-killer for people without desire to improve themselves...◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

As I've already confessed, since I got psychotic depression, I've read up a storm of self-help and psychology books, borrowing from the nearest library one after another.Spiritualism books are included, which are in the shelf side by side with psychology and philosophy books. So as a matter of course, I've heard of apocalypticism in this year. But apocalypticism in this winter solstice based on ancient calendar was long denied more than half year ago, and still there seem to be people who believe in -or expect -or rather looking forward to this.Anyway... (Introduction) Unpredictable and unpreventable natural disasters including earthquakes and meteorite's collisions aside...If I've ever had any concern about apocalypticism, the occasion is not war nor environmental pollution but stress -at least in some countries.I've learned that there are good stress and bad stress; at sports, we compete with rivals and take the times, so "good stress" is caused and good records come up.On the other hand, there is no need to explain that "bad stress" cause various negative effects including various illnesses; I'm the living proof. It is obvious that there are more and more factors behind the stress undermining us -the list is endless. Then, life force can be undermined, at the physical level of both individuals and humankind.Pessimism is sweeping, making people -especially younger generation apathetic and lose self-esteem -the more self-esteem is low, the more there is a possibility that such people bully others for sham self-esteem.As a result, negativity could be passed down.On comparing New Age idea that babies choose parents when they come to the world, a hypothesis is possible that less and less babies choose parents in savage world. (See Jan. 28, 2011)As a matter of fact, wasn't there a disaster movie that stirred up fear about apocalypticism in this winter solstice? At the same time -since I mentioned about my reading of New Age ideas and this diary was being too pessimistic, I'm placing what I read incidentally:There is a view that the phase believed to be apocalypticism is just a change of dimension; such low-level negativity is not suitable for the different new higher dimension.Whatever you believe in...Don't let useless negativity destroy yourself. And if ever there were a fate that natural disasters like meteorite's collision would destroy the whole earth, it can be ridiculous to believe that certain people or places are safe, can't it?

-This is Japanese for diverse and irrelevant.1. (See Nov. 4, 2011 first)As reported, Lower House was suddenly dissolved. As is often said, while they are busy for insider dispute and take no account of people -especially people at stricken area of 3.11 earthquake disaster, when it comes to elections, they suddenly present sweet faces to people. And suddenly, new political parties have come up one after another. But I agree with an opinion that they don't have a right to use words such as "future" and "Japan" frivolously while they diverted "budget for reconstruction from 3.11 earthquake" and they are just a mere mishmash just for upcoming election.-Whatever...The election for governor of the capital prefecture was already set while national politicians were disputing whether they dissolve Lower House. As a result, in this prefecture, elections for governor and Lower House are held on the same day.Various backgrounds and process leading to those two elections aside, I think this outcome is right:For voters in the capital prefecture, it's bothersome if they have to go to the polls again and again within a short span.2. Hey, girls idol groups more than one class! :I see the members split into various small groups, but it's no time for diversion, isn't it?I think it's time to get together and appeal to vote at upcoming national election to fans and media with full of inquisitiveness, isn't it?Isn't it one of the right uses of fame to ask them to put enthusiasms into national elections as much as popularity votes?-Or should I make such a proposal to the producer?-As for them, there is nothing else I can -and I'd like to comment to.3. First of all... excuse me for rather childish idea:When I was a child, I saw a distribution map of military bases of the ally in a social studies textbook, I remember wondering why those military bases are scattered in various places. As long as I remember, when I heard the news about an assault case by soldiers in those military bases for the first time, I think I wondered why they don't separate those military bases from residential areas completely-For example, by putting together in a few small islands.Of course, now I understand that it was an artless question when I didn't know very much about base relocation problems. But it seems that this country is despised by the ally, so there is no end to such problems and various incidents including assault cases by soldiers.◇:Ready to place translation if asked

As I confessed before, once I suffered from psychotic depression but survived.Recently, my parents pointed out that I say "Thank you" more frequently than before.Maybe they are right ...surely, I remember reading how words showing gratitude do us good, and deciding to practice this.If there is a reason I managed to change myself and get over my mental disease... this is a habit of gratitude. No matter how people around me understood the situation and helped me, I couldn't respond -or reward those help while I lacked the sense of gratitude, which is regrettable-I realized after I managed to regain my health -as only for me, that is.When I was being perverse, I think I used to feel that the word "okagesama" (maybe "thanks to..." or "fortunately...") sounded obsequious -I confess. But not now; showing gratitude modestly and disparaging myself is different things.Sometimes I forget my resolution and fall back into a complainer, though -this is still one of my bad habits. One of the books I learned about the effect of gratitude says that adults should show children the custom to show gratitude whenever people do something for them. And if children learn this habit, they will grow up to be adults with higher state of mind. One of the books I read says that showing gratitude to people who do good to us is basic and anyone can do it;We should show gratitude whenever we can.And even to people we don't hit it off, and when things are tough -this is still difficult technique for me, though. So far, self-discipline is the main story -excuse me.Today's conclusion is...To unappreciated coast guard officers in our country who rescued the crews from the neighboring continent country at a ship fire,And to local people who rescued distressed tourists from our country at the world heritage,I'd like to take this occasion to dedicate the phrase that if you do something to help other people, even with simple and modest things, you are returned a favor not by the people you helped but by God or the universe.Even while those two countries are under difficult conflict, as a team of doctors that received Nobel praise for peace declare, no reason should be required to save people's life.◇:Ready to place translation if asked

-I'm NOT mentioning John Lennon.First of all- May I place in English? I cannot write languages used in two countries in question in this diary.Besides, those languages include special characters and symbols which might garble or cause errors if used on this weblog.----------There was an incident that a national TV station in one of the nuclear-power promoting country made a composite picture of one of the soccer player in our country with four arms and slandered as an effect of nuclear power accident.Later, the TV station apologized, but the announcer in question made another slander that this incident was a tidal wave in the cup, far from having no intention to apology.Just after 3.11 earthquake, a soccer player from our country said that he would like to do something to cheer up people through soccer even if he is criticized, instead of not doing anything from the afraid of criticism about indiscretion. (See Jul. 12, 2011) Have they forgotten that this country belongs to the area this message was put out?I remember that this country enforced underground nuclear tests:What if anti-nuclear groups or people made composite pictures like deformity using the pictures of famous people in this country as if these were caused by nuclear tests? You would easily imagine the anger.Nuclear tests are not natural disasters, though. And is it only me who thought of congratulation-on-earthquake mothin picture incident on this Mar. 11 from the neighboring peninsular country and connected with this incident in my mind? (See Mar. 25, 2012) Some people might recognize a popular child actress whose nickname is spring-wind:She made a statement online that imagination is important to get rid of bully, and caused sensation. Bullies lack imagination, needless to be indicated by her:Aren't those bullies in those two countries ashamed of having been pointed out it by a child -even a very clever one with insight and intellect that outshine adults enough? So are those people who divert "budget for reconstruction" for unrelated use, being busier for political chaos, and mixing up radioactive with germs ...(See also Jul. 26, 2012) (October) ◇:Ready to place translation if asked

Right now, it's a major concern whether a lower-house election is held within this year. But it seems to be a foregone conclusion that current ruling party can suffer a crushing defeat if there is an election now. They must also predict this, so they are trying to procrastinate the dissolve of Lower-House -at least there is such an impression. But they said that they would ask the people directly about this judgment "sometime in the near future".Many people, including me, expected that there would be a Lower-House election during this year -but this. They are just running away around and showing us a disgraceful impression. What do they expect after what they have done? However...Today, I place this openly because I didn't vote either for the current ruling party nor former ruling party three years ago:Back then, when the current ruling party ousted the reigns of the government, they won an overwhelming victory because many people voted for them.So did the mayor and ex-prefectural governor who used to be lawyer and TV entertainer. Now the result is this situation.People accuse the irresponsibility of the current ruling party, but what about the responsibility of voters -and people who didn't vote at this election...?I wondered but I couldn't find the answer whether the current ruling party was such a fast talker that voters were totally deceived, Or people who voted for them were unable to predict such situation and didn't think very well about the result of their vote... -I think I placed once. But at the same time... I confess that I cannot say I voted positively:There were four candidates in the electoral district where I lived in.Back then, I had already adopted a criterion that I don't vote for people and parties being busier for finding fault with others and scrambling for political power. Two of the four were from those parties, so I eliminated them.As for one of the two, I couldn't understand their intention no matter how hard I searched, and the more I read their campaign promises, the more I became skeptical. So I eliminated this candidate, and I voted for the rest one -this ended up in a wasted vote, though.Method of elimination could be useful sometimes -just for reference. As I was typing this composition, I recalled an argument about minus-voting (or maybe "negative-voting") system; voting against candidates you want to reject. If there was such an election system, would more people vote?Whatever... I'm placing again and again:To qualified voters: Be sure to vote -for your own sake. (See also Jun. 30. 2011 and Jun. 30, 2010) Even if there is disparity in the value of one vote now, I think it's better off to vote than abstain. If you don't vote, you don't have the right to comment about the results after you leave all the decision-making to other voters.Especially younger generation: It is already said that politicians treat older generation better because older generations vote more. Then, it must be no use complaining about this without voting.Voting for rival candidates of the parties you want to reject might be a choice. If you decide that there is nobody whom you want to vote, then cast a blank vote. There is another concern: If the election is held during the year change period, the voting rate might decline-and what if this was one of the aims of the current ruling party...?To candidates: Whatever the reason you decided to be a politician, always keep the social significance of your job in your mind. (See also Jul. 6, 2012 and Jun. 7, 2011) -Is it no use asking this to many of the politicians? And Please fight the campaign fair and square, NOT cheating and speaking ill of each other nor slander fight -or I'm rejecting you again, like three years ago.Placing about politics and election during the campaign period can be against the law, so it was also a race against time to decide when to place this.◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

Today, please imagine a scene of a fictitious student council meeting at a fictitious school. It's almost impossible to call all the people in this story with pronouns, so I'm calling main people in this story with fictitious names:Today, the main characters are:Kou(boy), Chie(girl), Nao(boy)Sei(girl, appearing again since part 3), Jin(boy), Haru(girl), and Nori(boy)Mr. Ide(Male teacher), Masa(boy), and Fumi(girl).----------Sei has been one of the girls marked persistently by the bully trio in neighboring class Kou, Chie, Nao, and their entourages. Why? ...A few of the reasons seem to be because she is a weak and inconspicuous but brilliant girl at this school, and she is from a family of influence. And this bully trio dominates their class. Her friends Haru and Nori pressed the class leader Jin to do something about Sei.But as is shown on Part 3, while he was weak-kneed to give reconciliation money to extortionist student group, how could he take positive measures?Even so, he began to work out a plan; basically, maybe he thought it would be important to keep Sei from isolation...At the same time, Haru herself secretly met Mr. Ide, a teacher in charge of guidance counselor and an advisory capacity for student council, and told about this problem. That drove Kou's trio frenzy.Don't worry -almost everyone understood that this was just a self-centered spiteful counterattack. But since then, Kou's trio and their entourages demonized their classmates who met Jin's classmates, while a few of both classmates were still friends. Now at last today's main story:An important student council meeting day came.It seemed that this student council didn't have their own meeting space...or there might be circumstances they couldn't use the meeting room...This meeting was held, using the classroom of Jin's class.Nao was a member of the student council, and Kou is a class leader, so they had obligations to take part in.But Kou and Nao suddenly declared that they wouldn't take part in this meeting:Simply because this was held at the classroom of the students who made up the cause teachers and the school bully Kou's trio and their entourages. At this meeting, they were going to decide some important things such as budget and rules for school events, and so on.All the attendees of this meeting were disgusted at their self-centeredness.Anyway, Mr. Ide and the student council leaders Masa and Fumi -they were not students in neither classes- decided to hold the meeting without Kou and Nao.Since this was known throughout the whole school, gradually more and more students who were fed up with their selfishness began to try to keep away from Kou's classmates-except for some considerate and brave friends who wished to do something for bullied students in this class so that they wouldn't be isolated, and a few of Jin's classmates who met Kou's classmates from sheer force of habit ...-----------Me? If I were a member of this fictitious school, I might choose to avoid them because I wouldn't be strong enough to confront the bully trio.If this was a simple story at a school, Kou and Nao would be severely scolded, and Nao might be even ousted from the student council.Above all... if you read the series of story from the beginning, you might wonder how a bully like Nao could be a member of the student council. How would the results of this student council meeting be, after important things were decided without Kou's class?-I have to wait and see the results of its target for comparison.Today, so simple story with so many people, then the intention of this series of stories might be realized.◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

I don't think so many people remember a CD I placed on "Favorite" just after I started up this weblog: "Utaki" by Misako Odani.(Back then, I didn't know how to place images on this weblog.)One of the songs in this album "Watashiwo kaeshite"(return myself to me) is questioning us which is stronger, money or love. This song starts with: I've witnessed people who take advantage of sick people and squeeze out life they have a little left.More than ten years after this song came to the world...Unfortunately, as I was wondering what to place this month, it turned out that there are people taking advantage of victims and stricken area and squeeze out "budget for reconstruction", and diverting for unrelated uses.As I placed once -maybe last year- what a wretched government! -Excuse me for creche.Just before I decided how to start this composition, a fishery in one of the stricken prefectures bankrupted."Budget for reconstruction" is originally used for a support for such organizations and people, isn't it?-Needless to ask here.Again, I'd like to ask people who read this English weblog to keep your eyes on our move, since this country is still sensitive to external pressure. No matter how people at spot work hard, there is a possibility that their effort could go down the drain due to incompetent politics -then what incompetent politicians and bureaucracy did can be no different from a crime.(September)◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

This proverb means: It's better to be a leader of a small organization than an underling of a big organization.Different expression is: It's better to be a big fish in a little pond than a little fish in a big pond. (cf. Progressive Japanese-English Dictionary)In our language, one of the expressions for this proverb is: it's better to be the head of a chicken than the butt of a bull. This proverb is introduced in a Chinese ancient history book:A large country was trying to attack other six neighboring small countries.A diplomat visited the six small countries and suggested each sovereign that six countries should team up to prevent invasion from the large country.Using this proverb, he explained that even if their countries were small, it would be better to be independent sovereign states than being colonized by a large country. With the lapse of time...The origin country of this historical book complier is now one of the economic powers in the world,But unfortunately, there is a fact -at least reputation that it's doubtful if the economic power and the cultural level is the same -this historian might deplore. It is necessary and no doubt that neighboring countries must find out how to get along well -geographical reason for one thing, since there is no moving the country land -a nonsense story for sci-fi might come up. (I recalled an old sitcom: A duo of private detectives tries to assist a man for a moonlight flit from a loan shark. The only escape is a path in front of the loan shark office. They try various means, but they are hindered again and again. Finally, they drag the client's house in front of the loan shark office.)However, at the same time...This large country is not everything of the continent and area this country and our country belong to.Once I read an opinion by an international political analyst that the friendship between this country and our country and neighboring peninsular countries would be important for the world-But unfortunately, as long as I see the current situation, I'm afraid that it doesn't sound so realistic to me:Even though we wish friendship than conflicts in our heart of hearts in three countries, but in reality, too many ways to go to make our friendship come true.In the meantime... rather than struggling over arrogance of this tyrannical totalitarian country, what if our country try to get along better with various other countries that have suffered from similar problems in the area our country belong to...? I feel it is more realistic -at least, more constructive-All the more, it would be great if our country can contribute our share to development of Asia, including economical aspect. This is the third time I place this theory: The more constructive, the more positive.(See also Mar. 25, 2012)I avoid using proper nouns on 10-line, but as for this diary, it was almost impossible to write with no geographical names at all.◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

I attended a wedding reception of one of my cousins.Fortunately, everything went fine -except for:I wore a cocktail dress for the first time.To tell the truth, it was my first time I dressed up more formally than business suits. If you had seen the previous diary, you might have presumed -I hadn't prepared a pair of shoes for the dress, and I was at a loss again! When a massive earthquake hit vast area of eastern Japan last spring, there were many city people who became unable to go home due to traffic paralysis and many people had to go home from workplaces on foot.-One of my cousins was also the one, and besides, he had forgotten to bring his cell phone on this particular day -so it took time for me to make sure that none of my relatives were injured. (See Mar. 12, 2012)This showed us a lesson: it's a good preparation for office workers to keep their pair of sneakers in their offices just in case they have to go home from workplaces on foot. And some women stopped wearing high-heels regularly.-More and more people seem to put emphasis on function in clothing. One of my new friends who has suffered from hallux valgus says that wearing high-heels is a torture. On high-heels, calves are firm -that's true, but such shoes are for parties we don't have to walk around; they are not made for daily walking. This time, I happened to have a pair of low-heeled fashionable sandals that went well for the dress, so I managed. But I need to find proper shoes -I decided. It's lucky I have certain clear criteria to select shoes and clothes, knowing my good points and defects of my figure and body; For example... ・As I confessed before, my toes are shaped oddly by nature, so I usually avoid wearing high-heels taller than one inch.・There is a scar of chicken pox on my chest. The scar itself doesn't matter at all, but when I wear something cut so low that the scar is shown, I dress in layers. It's to avoid cooling my throat and chest, NOT to avoid delighting lecherous men NOR I'm concerned that my breasts are small.Even if your throat is not as weak as mine, clothing that make people at a loss which way to look can be against manners. In short...Why don't we stop dressing up for appearance' sake at a risk to our bodies and health? There was a time women had to wear corsets for wasp waists men wanted, And foot-binding used to be forced in China, -But not now, at least in this country and other industrialized countries.◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

An assumption has shocked us that if a massive earthquake hits Western Japan, there can be more than three hundred and twenty thousand victims at the maximum value, mainly due to tsunamis. At the same time... even if a massive earthquake and tsunamis come, victims can be reduced drastically if necessary and effective measures are taken: For example, immediate evacuation, making buildings more quakeproof, and securing places for shelter -As a matter, of course -it might sound. Then why don't we start what we can do today? There are what individuals must do, society must do, and politics must do. Then I don't think politicians have time for political chaos. Two more concerns I have thought up:・What if there were people who choose not to escape and get swallowed in tsunamis on purpose in case of massive earthquake, deciding it would be better off to die?・So far, I've seen articles about countermeasures at public institution and self-governing bodies related to this assumption of a massive earthquake in Western Japan, but I'm not sure if I've seen about countermeasures at nuclear power plants -am I overlooking the news? Today, please imagine a scene of a sports festival at a fictitious school. This fictitious Ball-game Festival in this fictitious school is based on what was held at my high-school, with two more events added:From Mini-soccer (game time is one-third of the official game), basket ball, volley ball (girls only, no deuce), tennis, and Mini-baseball (boys only, five innings), all the students select and play what they like and fight interclass. When students are not in play, they cheer for their classmates in play. It's almost impossible to call all the people in this story with pronouns, so let me call main people in this story with fictitious names:Today, the usual bully trio Kou, Chie, Nao is not appearing.Instead, three classes are involved and the main characters are:Mr.Koda(a male teacher), Riku(boy), Atsu(boy)/ Jin(boy), Haru(girl)/ Mio(a boy in another class)----------Mr.Koda was unpopular among students in his class, mainly due to too severe record competition in this class and partly, factionalism problem. He was distressed how to bring back his reputation. Many of the students in his class lead by Riku conflict with his neighboring Jin's class, and this class is trying to send a classmate into school council in rivalry with Jin’s class.Mr.Koda thought up using those move. Those two classes are trying to get along better, but the reality is many of the students in each class are at at strife with each other, and every time they meet, they give malicious looks to each other.Surely, there are good reasons why many of Riku's classmates dislike Jin's classmates (I couldn't make the beginning of their conflict into this story)-but since Jin gave reconciliation money to extortionist student group on Part 3, Riku's group's behavior against Jin's class seems to be getting eccentric:Once there was a tornado in this area and the house of Haru, one of the students in Jin's class, was damaged, and she was injured.A few days later, when Haru came back to school, A few of Riku's classmates broke into Jin's class with a placard written that congratulation on your damage, and made fun of her.At the same time... Atsu, Riku's friend and one of the best-looking boys in this school, concerns such situation and wishes to do something for their friendship. There are several fans of Atsu in Jin's class.Excuse me for long introduction.A whole-school Ball-game Festival came.Mr.Koda devised a stratagem how to use this opportunity to regain reputation and majesty -and declared that the top-3 prizewinning team would get their school grades added, and if his class won overall champion, he would treat them with cakes of popular patisserie. Some students suspected that it was just claptrap.Even so, that stirred the students' fighting spirits -and that caused two incidents:1. At a Mini-soccer game Riku's team took part in...Mio(a boy from another class who took part in soccer) and Riku collided and Riku collapsed on purpose. The judge charged Mio with an error. Then Riku showed an insulting gesture to Mio. Then Mio was drived mad and shouted back to Riku, so Mio ended up in getting ejected from the field -but and students in different classes and audience who carefully watched the scene understood that Riku was on blame.2. The Ball-game Festival went on and on, and top-3 match of each event came.In Mini-soccer, Jin's class and Riku's class faced. This time, both teams on the field fought fair and square, and Riku's team won.However... as is already mentioned, Riku's classmates dislike Jin's classmate, and Riku's team beat the team of Jin's class.Actually, Mr.Koda had also told his students that if they beat teams in Jin's class, the team would be exempted from their cleaning duty for five days even if they didn't win the top-3.Riku's friends were overjoyed all the more -and one of the teammates began to speech that students in this class should be worthy for school council than Jin's classmates, which was prohibited by Ball-game Festival rules. So did Mr.Koda who came to celebrate their victory.Besides... it is natural that classmates cheer for their friends in play, but many students in other classes witnessed Riku's classmates were shouting insult against opponent classes here and there. Now Good God! Unsportsmanlike attitude of them and even their class teacher became apparent to whole school -----------...but I haven't thought up farther stories related with Mr.Koda's class so far -sorry.How did other games go and which class became overall champion of this Ball-game Festival?Did Mr.Koda keep the promise to praise the winning team? That doesn't matter today. If this school really existed and if I were the principal or one of the most influence teachers, I might consider punishing Mr.Koda and his students ...and also scold Jin and his friends who allow bully from extortionist students. -So I wish I could, as for the target for comparison of both classes...

-I'm NOT mentioning a song of Cassiopeia. In our country, summer vacation is ending soon in many schools -except in northern area where summer is short and winter is long.(Previous)I wonder how the investigation of bullicide has progressed during the summer vacation period. While the media is full of stories about this case, several more suicide cases of teenagers have turned out to be bullicides. At the same time... I also see several cases that victims report bully cases to the police. This could be a kind of positive tendencies: More and more victims and their families have the courage to conference with specialists of law and education and fight against bully so that they don’t let the matters drop. And recently, more and more bully cases are the level of clime, not nasty tricks. When I was about their age, there was a series of bullicide cases by junior high school students.Back then, the first student who killed himself had left a suicide note showing what assailant students did turned out to be definite clime -similar to the current cases.Since then, there were several more bullicides of teenagers.I recalled that one of them left a note saying that he is sacrificing himself so that other bullied friends would be saved.I'm not sure if I understood things enough back then, but at least, a part of structure of bully was revealed. With the lapse of time...One of my old classmates has become a teacher and works for a junior high school.Like this friend, ex-teenagers who witnessed those bullicide cases as people of their own ages are already adults now, and some might be working as teachers. Now the similar chain reaction of bullicide cases again.Although bullicide cases of teenagers and concealment by school authorities must be nothing new between those two series of cases, and even if young teachers are still occupied with their daily routine...I'd like to accuse that this can be a repeated tragedy caused by adults who don't learn. It's too late when a student commits suicide.Incidentally... Needless to say as for the previous cases, the series of bullicide cases in this spring to summer could be regarded as a kind of a chain reaction again, although other series of suicide cases like this have occurred now and then:What if this were fueled by media including Internet, as is often cases of such chain reaction of suicide cases...?◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

I've read that if we want to express the same things and expect the same results, it's more effective to use constructive expression, from spiritual and psychological point of view. For example:When you want to have your children study, it's more effective to tell "If you study hard, you can get better grades in this term" instead of "If you don't study hard, your grades will get worse in this term".Whichever the expression you use, the result you want is the same; you want your children study and get better grade. Then it's better to focus on the results you want, and you draw the results yow want.If you use negative expression, both the listener and you focus on external negative expression and draw negative results. In one of the books I read about this, the author mentions that people who are involved in anti-cancer campaign have higher possibility to have cancer:Such people focus on and empowering "cancer" -then it's better to carry out health enhancement campaign instead, the author points out. From this theory, a possible hypothesis is drawn out:While there have been opposition campaigns against nuclear power plants on large scale, the government and one of the electricity companies ended up bulldozing resumption of nuclear power plants:(See Jun. 19, 2012)Is crying out for anti-nuclear focusing on and empowering "nuclear"?Promoters of atomic power plants put emphasis on the threat of electricity shortage in the country poor in natural resources. And it's true that it is necessary for opponents to show new or alternative vision after the abolition of nuclear power plants, or unfortunately nothing would change, since the government prefers to maintaining the status quo.Then... although no doubt that the threat and fabrication of atomic power plants must be noticed widely-Isn't it more constructive to carry out campaign demanding new energy policy? If new recyclable energy spreads, and new idea about the use of energy and electricity and even our civilization and society are established, Then, as a result, atomic power plants can be shoved in the corner in the end. -For example, geothermal power generation is said to be promising in a quake-prone volcanic country, and I wonder how much electricity would be produced if all the garbage disposal facilities placed electricity generators -Am I being too optimistic?I placed similar theory before:Although I'm not the right person to mention this, since I watch TV only about two hours a week-I think it's more constructive to demand better domestic TV programs than demanding elimination of programs from the neighboring peninsular country.-The state of affairs is different this time, though.(July 2012)◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

First of all- Since I was under the psychotic depression, I've read up a storm of various self-help books, life philosophy and psychology books. (See also May 26, 2012)Books written by Christian ministers and nuns based on Bible are included. The idea I've learned from those books is useful to understand the songs we perform since I took part in a band of a gospel choir as a pianist. Now today's main story:In the era Jesus was preaching his teachings, there was a discrimination against patients of leprosy, what is now called Hansen's disease. Those people were accused as sinners, and their diseases were regarded as the result of sin of themselves or their ancestors. The motivation of such discrimination is analyzed as a fear against death:When people saw patients of skin diseases, they associated death. So they tried to distract themselves from the fear against death by discriminating those patients.According to the book I read about this fact, bully reflects wish to avoid admitting vulnerability. With the lapse of time...A junior high school boy who had been bullied at school killed himself last autumn. After this fact was discovered, criticism and attacks are pouring on the school and assailant students. The fact and backgrounds of this incident still awaited clarification aside...Surely, the school neglected inquiry into the incident and assailant students don't show any sincerity, So the escalation of the issue has been brought on themselves -no doubt about that. However...As I see the news that people unrelated to assailant students are attacked due to wrong information on Internet, I cannot help wondering how many people who attack the school and assailant students are really lament for the victim boy and wish to do something to eradicate bullies at schools -including people clamoring online and media. There can be pressure lobbies whose purpose is to obstructing school duty taking advantage of this incident.Excluding such cases, I suspect that there can be some reproachers who self-intoxicate a perverse sense of justice. If so, they are not unlike the assailant students. If you assert that you never bully or discriminate, you have the higher possibility to do such thing, because you are not accepting yourself as you are -including vulnerability, while everyone has such darkness of mind -now I feel that the very thing this book says is happening. In short... Nothing comes out of chain of hatred only leading to ruin -but it might be too premature to place it now -that's why I place on 10-line first. (See also Dec. 28, 2009)

1. If the raise of consumption tax is bulldozed, Then most people will try to save money by reducing consumption with whole bags of tricks, Then economy in this country can slow down, Then the society can stagnate, Then there will be higher possibility that the capital of this country is defeated in invitation of Olympic Game... What if such thing happens?Such simple expectation aside... if I were involved in selecting the host of Olympic Game, I might support Istanbul:Olympic should be held for the world.Whatever the background Turkey is announcing the candidacy to host the Olympic Game in 2020, this country is geographically important place, located between Asia, Africa, Europe and Middle East.Well, I have a good reason to support Tokyo, too.Anyway... let's enjoy upcoming London Olympic Game.2. (See Apr. 26, 2012 first)There was a leader of a samurai clan in 12th century:While this leader was in his prime, this family enjoyed their proud existence of glory and elegance, and ruled the whole country and government. But after he died, the clan went downfall, and finally the clan was defeated by brothers who established the first administration by samurai. The younger brother was awarded a special title from the court, but many military commanders thought that he was too self-centered and lacked any political sense. So the elder brother became afraid that the new order would crumble, and decided to expel the younger brother. The younger brother was assaulted at his hideout and killed himself. There is an analysis about the difference between two brothers:The elder brother had a vision of establishing new administration, not only placed importance on harmony which led him to care very much for his supporting powers. The younger brother was admired as a strategic hero, but he didn't have the next target farther than defeating the clan who used to command this country. With the lapse of time...There is already a suspect that the current ruling party didn't have the next target farther than defeating the former ruling party, and that's the very background of the current political chaos. As for the former ruling party... their most -and only- important target must have been maintenance of their administration in power -I feel like suspecting.(See also Jun. 7, 2011)3. There isn't anybody who still believes that ritual suicide is still Japanese culture while it's already 21st century, is there?During Edo period, this became a way of death penalty for samurai class. From a simple calculation, we can see that Edo period is still longer than the era regarded as modern Japan after Meiji. Then, the era when suicide was made into aesthetics is still longer than modern society...◆ :Ready to place summmery if asked

This has nothing to do with Apr. 26, 2012.This is a well-known story of Aesop's Fables:A Country Mouse invited his friend Town Mouse and treated him with local food.Country Mouse served Town Mouse shabby food -such as nuts, wheat-stocks and roots. So Town Mouse got angry and told Country Mouse to come to town so that they can enjoy various delicious foods in town.Country Mouse visited Town Mouse next.Country Mouse was astonished as he saw feast consisted of various foods in the house the Town Mouse lived in.But people and a cat kept on coming in and out, so they had to run away around, and they couldn't enjoy the feast.Country Mouse thought the town was affluent but terrible place, and decided that he would prefer the country even he had only plain food.-Is there an illogical jump if this story was connected with an either-or choice between planned blackouts or resumption of nuclear power plants? After all, they ended up in resuming nuclear power plants evading the criticism from public opinion-I cannot get rid of the impression that planned blackouts due to electric shortage was used as a threat, while there is already highest level of radioactive-polluted zone in this country. As the government bulldozed the resumption of nuclear power plants, the Prime Minister said that this is the decision on his responsibility. But as I hear people like them using the word "sekinin" (responsibility) lightly, I myself doubt that if I understand the meaning of the word "sekinin" truly.I've heard that the word "responsibility" consists of "response" and "ability":I have to declare that I cannot help doubting "ability of response" of Prime Minister and current Cabinet and governments neglecting survivors of the earthquake disaster and refugees from radioactive-polluted zone, electric power company that decided the resumption of atomic power plants, and other electric power companies trying to seize opportunity to resume atomic power plants...If I try to mention furthermore, the rest would be the same as last month.Just let me place that I'm amazed at gap between the public and the government, and once I've wondered if politicians read newspaper -a childish question, though.Excuse me for the delay of this month's "serial 10-line essays".◇:Ready to place translation if asked

Please imagine a fictitious school.(Part 2)Today, the story is a little more complicated than former two stories; three different classes are involved. It's almost impossible to call all the people in this story with pronouns, so let me call main people in this story with fictitious names:Kou (boy), Chie (girl), Nao (boy), Hana (girl), Jin (boy) and Sei (girl).----------In this school, there is a class under the control of bully trio Kou (the leader), Chie, Nao, and their entourages.Their outrageous behaviors have been threat not only to the weaker classmates, but also to other classes, mainly by violence and extortion.Responses of other classes are different:Some wish to keep away from them as much as possible,Some are angry but afraid of them,Some feel pity for them how they are ruining the reputation of themselves,Some can tell them to stop -Kou still give those people and teachers due respect. One day, there were two extortion cases in two classes:Kou's entourages thrust into two classrooms and intimidated weak students. In one of those classrooms Chie and her entourages broke into, the class leader Hana declared:"What you are doing is extortion and this is a distinct crime. I'm ready to call the police!"Unfortunately, most of Hana's classmates were neither strong enough nor good at combative sports, but they tried to chase the intimidators away.It happened that a teacher participating in student counseling and guidance witnessed the fight, -Chie and her entourages ran away at the next moment, knowing that they were in disfavor with by some teachersAnd ordered Hana and her classmates in fight to write and submit repenting reports about this incident. They did so as they were told, obeying the rule.On the other hand...In another classroom, Nao and his entourages threatened Sei, and finally began to beat her.A few of Sei's friends tried to save her and they went into fight, and Nao was slightly injured. Then Jin, the leader of this class, came and tried to appease them.Incredibly, Jin handed Nao some money from reserve fund of the class as doctor's fee so that Jin's class and Kou's class can be friends.Once Nao and his entourages went away. But later, threats from Kou's entourages to Jin's class would begin to escalate...Of course, many of Jin's classmates were angry at the measure Jin took. Both classes are wondering what the next move of Kou's entourages would be...----------If such school really exists, the reports from Hana and her classmates who tried to carry out justice might be passed into police, not only other teachers, then Chie and other entourages wouldn't avoid being taken into protective custody by the police sooner or later. Most people with usual sense of justice might think that students like Kou's trio and their entourages wouldn't have rights to come and take part in this school while they cannot keep the rule of school and society, and think of Jin as unreasonable while praising Hana.-Well, well, well... a target for comparison of Kou's class would be inexcusable, of course, but a target for comparison of Jin's class could not be sympathized...◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

(See Nov. 10, 2011 and Mar. 13, 2009 first)Since I got psychotic depression, I've read up a storm of self-help and psychology books, borrowing from the nearest library one after another. In this library, shelves of those books and philosophy, religion and spiritualism books are side by side.So since then, spiritualism books are included in those books I've read up a storm to get over my mental disease and improve my life -I confess first of all today.I declare that books about questionable predictions, fishy stories, dubious religions just frightening us and stirring up negativity are excluded. So as a matter of course, I've seen and heard of apocalypticism in this year.Coincidence or not...・A worldwide superstar planned of world concert tour, but died just before the first day of the tour and the tour didn't came true.Motion picture of rehearsal was left and it was made into a documentary, and this superstar suggests that we have to stop environmental disruption and global warming in four years -it was 2009, so the suggested time limit is coming.・Four years ago, the first president of a colored race was elected in history of the country controlling and influencing the postwar world to all intents and purposes. And term of office is four years -this year.・Last year, a massive earthquake hit our country.Social chaos might be unavoidable for one year or so, but from this year, it must be time to determine the direction of reconstruction for new society. From various reasons including those fact, I feel that this year could be a kind of important phase, being amazed that there are some people who like the idea of apocalypticism, even wishing it comes true and looking forward to it.However...The idea of apocalypticism in this year is based on calendar of an ancient civilization in Central America. This calendar was said to be ending in this year. But an unconfirmed calendar of this ancient civilization was discovered. That means apocalypticism in this year was denied.Then... I wonder how believer of apocalypticism in this year think of this fact -as for this, I'm not even interested in searching on the Net, though-And how authors of spiritualism books would react, and how those questionable prophets and dubious religionists stirring up negativity try to smooth up their declaration.Whatever... future of human race is in the hearts of people now and the hands of God.Once an Ainu musician mentioned in his book; if people became extinct by natural disasters like meteorite's collision, he would be ready to accept because there would be nothing we could do about the decision of God, but if people became extinct by war caused by human race, it would be too foolish to accept. In short... future of human race is created by people at present, and my concern is such superstition could end up in stirring meaningless negativity and the negativity could be given concrete form.Actually, there is a cult group caused indiscriminate murder in order to realize apocalypticism they believe.◆ :Ready to place translation if asked

(April 2012)So far, one week is passing since all the atomic power plants in Japan stopped.Fortunately, it's not extreme hot or cold season now, so we still have time left to rack brains to think how to save electricity in summer again. On the other hand, dicker is still going on so that they can (I feel like suspecting and describing so) resume one of the nuclear power plants shut down for maintenance. The electric power company explains that electricity shortage is expected due to hot summer in the jurisdiction. And they declare that they don't hesitate to put planned blackouts into force in case of great electricity shortage.-I feel like suspecting whether they bring up planned blackouts as a thread so that they can force to resume atomic power plants.Things might have been different if our country was a continental country with stable bedrock, but even low-teen or younger children can doubt easily whether they should promote nuclear electric power generation in such a quake-prone country -like I did. (See Apr. 11, 2011)There is a concern that this earthquake disaster is passing into silence. So today, I'd like to ask you who read this English diary again to join the pressure to move our country trying hard to head straight toward resumption if you still care for stricken area and people struggling hard for reconstruction. And let's see if we can get by this summer without atomic power plants so that it can be a strong force to drive atomic power plants into abolition. In the first place- the electricity and energy problems revealed due to this earthquake disaster haven't been solved and they are not problems solved in one summer and winter -do we all understand that? For example, I still wonder why there are amusement parlors and various shops keep on glittering illumination.I hope that they won't resume too strong air-conditioning in offices and public facilities again as if they forgot lessons from last summer.(See also May 6, 2011)-I confess and have repentant that I'm putting emphasis more on learning from this earthquake disaster now, although there are still a lot to do to support people at the stricken area.(March 2012)(Back then)◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

・The weekend period drama in this year by national TV station is about a leader of a samurai clan in 12th century:While this leader was in his prime, this family enjoyed their proud existence of glory and elegance, and ruled the whole country and government. But after he died, the clan went downfall. However, I seldom watch TV at home, and unfortunately, this drama is not included in two hours a week I watch TV at home. (See Oct. 22, 2011)So I'm NOT the right person to mention about this drama, and it's NOT the drama I'm going to mention today-although I've seen various criticism that the audience ratings and reputation of this drama is not very well, blah-blah-blah...The prosperity and collapse of this clan is described in a classical literature. The opening is famous for the phrase saying that the proud do not endure, they are like a dream on a spring night, even dauntless people collapse eventually, just like dust in the wind...When I heard the news about a prediction that this country might drop out from a developed nation by 2050, those two things were associated in my mind. The authority and credibility of this prediction,The reason and backgrounds national TV station chose this historical person for a hero of this year's period drama,Putting such things aside... I just hope this would turn out to be a mere coincidence.・Once I heard of difference between religion and cult:Religion is guidance and mainstay to live in the reality.Cult is escape from reality.Sometimes the same difference could be applied to various entertainers -singers, musicians, actors and so on -I feel:Is it emotional mainstay or ways to escape that fans expect from entertainers?Which fans does each of entertainers attract? When I placed 50th diary of "Favorite", I placed a part of criteria.I might place the criteria after I place the 100th CD on "Favorite", but today I confess this element affects me when I decide what to place -and what I don't place on "Favorite".◇:Ready to place translation if asked

(Introduction)Since I met a new friend from one of the stricken prefecture, I began to learn hastily about nuclear problem. While I'm still the one being "Blind to the Truth", dicker is going on whether one of the nuclear power plants shut down for maintenance is to be resumed. But do they know that there is an essential major source of water nearby, and have they thought how many people and how vast area are damaged if once this nuclear accident causes accident? Are they going to evade as unexpected circumstances again in case of another accident?I recall a satirical seventeen-syllable poem I saw on a newspaper after a derailment accident that killed 107 people:"Anzento inochini masaru kanemouke" (Gaining profit Takes precedence over Safety and life)- I feel like suspecting that such spirit hasn't changed even after experiencing various tragedy caused by corporations. There have been various programs which were accused to be aggravating prejudice against evacuees from nuclear evacuation zone. But I seldom watch TV at home, so they don't come to me directly.Even so, as I read criticism of such programs online, asking them to think what is really important and be considerate to survivors sound not to be very meaningful.I don't think this weblog is read by many non-Japanese-speaking people while I keep on writing English weblog-but all I would like to ask today for people who read this English 10-line essay is to join the pressure to move our country trying hard to head straight toward resumption:As I was grappling with this translation, an accidents investigation commission was organized by a scientific organization in U.S. for the nuclear accident after 3.11 earthquake. And this accident is affecting even to a presidential election in a country that had promoted the use of nuclear power plants.I expect that such foreign pressure could cause similar policy changeover by foreign pressure happened during the progress of stabilization after the nuclear accident.(March 2012)◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

(See May 31, 2011 first)Since last April, I oblige myself to place these "serial 10-line essays" around the 11th of every month. And already one year since a massive earthquake and tsunamis destroyed vast area of eastern Japan. At first, I was completely at a loss what to do until I could make sure that none of my relatives in Akita, Tokyo and Tochigi were injured -I confess.(Back then)As I type these compositions every month, I've gathered various news naturally. My impression so far is:After the 3.11 earthquake, what we can be proud of, faults we must reflect upon, and hidden social contradiction have burst to the surface. So various things have been put under question. And how we have been "Blind to the Truth".And although it's no doubt that it is people at stricken area who is coping with things the best, it seems this country is failing to respond to - or rather wasting and trampling on their effort -I cannot help suspecting so.How do we respond the effort of the people at the spot? How do we respond the supports from all over the world?Reconstruction is sluggish and there are still so much to do.Yesterday, I heard on the radio that arousing public opinion is one of the tiny but important things we can do for reconstruction. Then I should -or I'm going to keep on this "serial 10-line essays" as long as possible.Just today, I'd like to take this occasion to place my gratitude to the world.Since special characters except for Japanese and alphabets cannot be displayed on this weblog, so excuse me for placing only the languages using alphabet to avoid garbles:Aciu.Aitah.Asante.Cam o'n ban.D'akujem.Dank u.Danke schon.Dankie.Dankon.Dekuji.Diolch yn fawr.Dziekuje.Eskerrik asko.Falemnderit.Go raibh maith agat.Gracies.Gratias.Grazas.Grazie mille.Grazzi.Hvala.Kiitos.Koszonom.Merci beaucoup.Mesi poutet ou.Muchas gracias.Muito obligado.Multumesc.Pakka per.Paldies.Sag olun.Salamat.Tack.Tak.Takk.Terima kasih.Tesekkur ederim.ΕυχαριστουμεСпасибо多謝And... thank you for a lot of love and supports.(February)

I heard an elderly high school teacher complaining about society at work.At that time, I felt that if young people at around or less than my age hear the talk, they might feel repelled or think their future would be just hopeless:This teacher kept on and on talking about pessimism about younger generation; how they are getting less and less motivated and less and less study hard and as a result, it's getting harder and harder for young people to find jobs -blah-blah-blah.However... at least those complaints is higher in level than complainers I met five years ago: (See Dec. 25, 2006)I see this teacher must be a full-time thinker who has such high social conscious.Then...If there is a reality that there are a lot of major companies that talk the fine talk but not walk the walk-for example, there are companies reluctant to hire handicapped people while they advocate employment of handicapped people, and major companies which made large amount of donations for survivors of 3.11 earthquake are negative about employment creation although this is important for local economy,-why doesn't this teacher announce those facts instead of complaining personally?I would expect that this should be persuasive, since this information is from someone who knows the reality of society as a professional who has to send the students into society. But without idea or motivation to change the society, this teacher might be regarded as just a complainer grumbling idly.-Me? I wouldn't be convincing if I did such a thing. As I was grappling with this composition, a news stimulating anger came up that a worker of restaurant chain committed suicide from overwork and the president left for a South-Asian developing country to establish a school without apology.May I ask the critics online just to be considerate enough NEVER to hurt the victim's family...?In short, today's conclusion is: Complaints can be a driving force to change the world better if used properly, but no better than a poison and waste of time if they have no such purpose.◇:Ready to place translation if asked

There is a proverb in our country listing four dreadful things in our lives.I wonder why the fourth is "father" -I think "typhoon" should be counted, since all other three things are disasters. But it's not right time for inquiry into proverbs but today's main story:A high probability of epicentral earthquake was announced and shocked us.The evidence aside... surely, there was an earthquake near the highest dormant volcano in our country after the announcement and it might be enough to gain practicality, but partly, I feel that only the figures are getting our of control. The purpose should be to warn us to prepare natural disasters including earthquakes.Just when I started this "series 10-line essays", the society and media was under disorders after the earthquake and partly, it couldn't be avoided. But it seems that there have been some media and believers who are just squarking a ruckus. As is already said, earthquakes and tsunamis are natural disasters. But various man-made disasters have been caused at this earthquake disaster, too.Needless to say about atomic power accident.Politic inefficiency is also being described as another man-made disaster by some media.I suppose that discrimination by being "blind to the truth" should be included.And... information inefficiency could be counted, as I see the news about the earthquake prediction:Not only causes disorders but also makes us stressed out unnecessarily. It's already less than one month before the day of the earthquake disaster.I wish I can post some bright diary as this "series 10-line essays" in one or two month.(January 2012)

So far, there are only two things I feel I've lucked out by missing the trend.1. When I bought the current cell phone in autumn 2010, I thought of buying a smartphone which had already appeared on the market. But somehow, the shop clerk opposed, so I bought a conventional cell phone after all.The latest machinery is always replaced by follow-on models or upgraded -back then, this shop clerk might have expected so.However, I heard various news about security problems of smartphones, and upshot was a massive scale of communication failure last month. So far, only my sister has a smartphone in my family; she bought one last autumn when her cell phone went out of order.I'm going to consider of buying a smartphone after I exhaust my current cell phone; I want to take care of things I'm using. It's just a matter of timing; I just hope that security is established and ensured by the time I get a smartphone.2. (See May 31, 2006) I started this weblog in haste after my favorite musician started up weblog. But when he started using a worldwide micro-blogging service, -he is the one using it thoughtfully-I couldn't understand its mechanism too well back then, so I didn't start up immediately. As I understood the system, then I thought that it might be stressful; I didn't feel like spending emotional strength as well as time.Simply because I cannot handle both this weblog and another microblog while I'm busy enough to manage one weblog. And I couldn't find advantages any more except for following my favorite musicians, so I have just put off starting up.In the first place, I slowed down the renewal of my weblog in 2008 to reduce what I share online so that I'm not stressed out by trying to renew my weblog every day.I started using social networking service which many music people use last year-end, though. And it seems that my hunch turned out not to be wrong: a lot of microblog-related incidents and scandals came up one after another.Thank God I wasn't one of the accomplices.Of course, microblog would be a great media if used thoughtfully, and there are many people who use it thoughtfully. But I suppose that posting too short sentences easily can lead to posting without much thought. And it's too difficult to express everything in too short words. So is to read what they want to express in too short words. That's why they easily trip someone up with their own words and make great fuss about trifles without much thought -I analyzed so.Since what we post on Internet can be shared worldwide, I believe that I must post statements on Internet attentively.Meanwhile... another news came to me that there are many people getting stressed out due to microblog and social networking by being too sensitive to evaluation online and numbers of followers, seeing negative postings, ...blah-blah-blah. So I declared that I'm not using microblog when I placed the news about new social networking -this is not present progressive form but indication of intention.

First of all -excuse me for being a long time since I placed the previous diary.Until I took up this diary, I heard of various news about female big-names exposing their faces without makeup in public and on the Internet. The general evaluation aside... I just wondered why such news could create such sensation.I wonder some people might think that makeup is "make-up", just like me in ten years ago.I could understand -surely it seems that there are some people who put on their faces too much and annoy other people with the smell of cosmetics.Needless to say, putting on your faces too much gives more bad impressions than good impression. And what if you put on your faces too much and try to look youthful and end up ruining your face...?One of my new friends introduced her sister - a makeup specialist who provides an interesting makeup service. She demonstrated her makeup service at parties. Her policy is to bring out essential beauty and charm of the clients.I could watch her demonstration twice, but unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to draw winning lots to work a model at both times.Even so, I realized again that makeup is originally done to make ourselves more beautiful. And I recalled of a survey that compared between female office workers who wear makeup daily and who don't: Office workers who wear makeup turned out to work more efficiently and be absent from work less frequently. The reason is supposed that as they make themselves up, they feel they are beautiful, and the confidence gives good effect on their state of mind and behavior.I wonder when I can receive her makeup service in some way.However... I confess that I had never put on makeup until I became twenty.Although even teens put on their faces today, when I was a teenager, makeup was usually prohibited by the school regulations. But it's a different story: For a long time, I was under the impression that makeup is "make-up".Maybe my policy was to attach the greater importance to inside contents than appearances -but how could I do that when I was a teenager?I just might have made light of appearances too much back then.It was when I attended the coming-of-age ceremony that I wore make-up for the first time.At that time, I turned out to be allergic to chemical detergent -it means that I have to be careful also about soap, hair-care goods and cosmetics -various substances that directly touch my skin. That made me hesitate to wear makeup all the more at one time, and during my college days, I wore makeup only at when I needed in public such as part-time jobs, job interviews and on stages.Fortunately, before the graduation, I found good natural cosmetics with reasonable prices that don't cause any trouble.Since then, I've bought cosmetics from the same manufacturer.Fortunately or not, thanks to my allergy, I don't need to get at a loss to choose cosmetics. But at the same time, it means I have less choice.-Then if you dispose of this diary as a warped view by someone who cannot enjoy makeup enough, that wouldn't be blamed.◆:Ready to place summery if asked

(See May 31, 2011 first)Since last April, I oblige myself to place these "serial 10-line essays" around the 11th of every month. But last month and this month, I placed them to the day of Kobe earthquake.(December 2011)The day of 1.17 Kobe earthquake is coming for the 17th time tomorrow.I'm also the one experienced and witnessed the disaster.Back then, I lived in the southern part of Osaka.Although there was a big shake, there were little damages caused at the area I lived in.Later, when I went on to college in Kobe, there were traces of damage -also in the town I lodged in.I was watching the revival of Kobe during my college days.As for this, I was a child -not in age but in social status, so I cannot mention except for about what I saw and remember.(See also Apr. 11, 2011)Even so... I was also the one who wondered why they promote the atomic power plants in such a quake-prone country after the earthquake in Kobe. The new year 2012 has already started, and it's described as first year of reconstruction. However, I'm afraid that inattention might be spreading after there was an announcement of convergent of the atomic power accident-But it doesn't mean termination, although both words are "shuusoku" in Japanese.Whatever the authority for the estimate of "40 years to decommission the nuclear power plants at the stricken area" is, a statement has been shown in figures. Then if there is a possibility you are still alive in 2050s, you have the duty to witness the results.◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

It's a song of Dan Fogelberg, from the album "The Wild Places".I was also the one shocked at the news that Dan Fogelberg departed from his life of prostate cancer.Back then, when Chikuzen Satou made a release of his new cover works, I thought of "Rhythm of the Rain" by Dan in this album. It was just after that when the news of the passing of Dan Fogelberg came to me.Yesterday was four years since then.And... 17 years are passing since 1.17 earthquake in Kobe next month. Now today's main story:I met a new friend from one of the stricken prefecture of 3.11 earthquake. And I heard on the radio news about how invitation of atomic power plant was sidestepped into money game.Since then, I began to learn hastily about this problem and realized how I had been "blind to the truth".I might be the one being the pot calling the kettle black -but while the electric power company on charge and the government are still saving their own skin, discrimination due to harmful rumor is still going on by being "blind to the truth" -and the actual harm is going on, too.It happened that a movie describing the tragedy of nuclear power plant disaster was on at a nearby theater -and I went to watch:The heroine girl named Calina used to live in a village with her parents and Grandmother. But after the accident of Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the family was separated; her father was working in Moscow to earn hospital charges, her mother was in hospital due to the illness caused by radioactivity, and she was living with her relatives in the city. She longed for her grandmother's house and village next to the forbidden area. One day, she asked Mother in hospital why they couldn't go back to the village to live together, Mother explained that there is a castle of devil scattering poison in Chernobyl. She believed that God would defeat the devil. But in that winter, Grandmother came down with illness, Mother's condition got worse, and finally, she was struck down by illness. She wished that if she were God, she would defeat the devil, clean the polluted village at once, and save her family and friends and all the people fighting against their illness...She made up her mind to go to "devil's castle" and have the devil stop scattering poison.Who can fulfill her wish?Again, I wondered why they built "devil's castles" beyond the control although once it gets out of control, the damage is left indefinitely -this is my artless question so far. Some people might have realized that I seldom mention about movies in this weblog - but somehow I expect this movie might spread eventually. While I was grappling with this composition, another news came to me that it would take forty years to decommission the nuclear plants at the stricken area -there might be a suspicion of an underestimate. At the last line of "Blind to the Truth", Dan Fogelberg sang that the judgment day would come.I wonder if we are already under the "judgment day", or it is to be coming up yet...(November)◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

・Year-end lottery tickets are on sale. (See May 6, 2011 first)Have you ever been asked this question?"If you won 1 billion yen in a lottery, what would you do? How would you spend this money? If you cannot answer within one minute, the money wouldn't be yours."My answer aside- I hear this is one of the questions useful to find what you really want to do in your life: For example, if you answer is you would quit the current job, it means you are not interested in your job.Now back to the reality:Sometimes I hear of accuse that lottery is temptation into dreaming of getting rich at one swoop. At the same time -public lotteries are sold by national and local governments to raise funds. Then, this concern might be possible that if nobody buys lottery, the tax might be raised. Then, it might be better off if we understand the true intention of public lotteries and buy lottery tickets intending as donation from the beginning-Am I being too realistic or calculating?Actually, two lotteries were sold to raise funds for reconstruction from two disasters: 3.11 earthquake and livestock infection.I bought both -two or three tickets of each.I was going to donate half if I won those lotteries -but I didn't win either of them.・I work in the prefecture where a mayor election and a gubernatorial election took place on the same day in Nov. 2011, but my place of residence is different, so I couldn't vote.As I hear the members in the office who live in this prefecture talking about the outcome of this election, as a bystander, I felt that some people might have voted for less unsatisfactory candidate. There is still a possibility that I might go back to this prefecture I grew up in -but I doubt I can -or at least I wouldn't want to -educate the next generation in the future, as long as the present system goes on.・Singers who have had relationships with gangster organizations are said to be eliminated from year-end singing competition program this year unconditionally, but there are some musicians who are not interested in appearing on this program no matter how famous they are, reasons aside. They must not be bullied just because they don't appear this program, although some people and media seem to be interested in materials for bully.However... as I see the line-up of singers this year, I don't think there is drastic difference as for domestic singers. And at least since I recovered from psychotic depression and regained my memory, I'm so busy for year-end cleaning and preparing special New Year's dishes and year-end supper for family that I cannot watch this program every year; I enjoy it on the radio at most.Homemaker is a tough task regardless of marriage.Incidentally - once some of my favorite musicians who have never took part in this program said that watching this program is better than appearing because they don't want to work on New Year's Eve.(See Sep. 2, 2011)◆:Ready to place summery if asked

Again, please imagine a fictitious class of a fictitious school. It's almost impossible to call all the people with pronouns, so I'm calling main people in this story fictitious names again.(Part 1)Today's main people are: Kou (boy), Chie (girl), Nao (boy), Emi (girl)--------------------This class is under the control of bully trio Kou, Chie, Nao and their entourages; they also cause various problems outside of the class and whole school, and in disfavor with by teachers, school and society. But they never admit that they are wrong; they resent unjustly that it's themselves who are bullied by school. One day, during the morning class before the lunch time, one of their classmates Emi had sudden gripes.By the end of the class, she could hardly move with pain.Kou's group made fun of Emi; some said that she must have eaten something rotten, and some accused her that she was pretending illness to skip the class.Chie and some entourage girls even said that Emi must be pregnant. Some students worried, but no one tried to help Emi from the afraid of bully.Emi was crouching and toughing it out during the lunch break. The afternoon class was P.E., so all other students left for the locker room, leaving Emi in the classroom alone.Just after the afternoon class started, Emi managed to stumble out of the classroom with all her strength -and collapsed, running out of energy.Even if she had her cell phone, it was not sure that she could call for help by herself properly.Fortunately, a caretaker found Emi at that moment.Actually, a brave friend had found a caretaker on the way to the gym and told about Emi secretly, asking not to reveal who was the notifier. As the caretaker saw Emi, he realized that her illness was more serious than he had been told, and called an ambulance. It turned out that Emi had acute appendicitis with bad complications, and it was a race against time to save her life.Later, all the students in Emi's class including Kou, Chie and Nao were questioned about this incident. While they tried to make various vindications such as they hadn't known Emi's illness had been such serious, or they had been in a hurry not to be late for afternoon class, blah-blah-blah-this incident revealed the structure of self-protection and ostrich policy that can even endanger someone's life...--------------------If such class really exists, students like Emi or their family might consider of bringing a charge against the bullies and school or changing schools. But is there any expecting what is happening to target for comparison of this story...?By the way... recently, I heard about the Analects of Confucius boom.Various philosophy and rules of life -mainly about human relationships and how people should live together are preached; such as you must not do what you don't want other people do to you.I wonder what this thinker would feel if he saw the present situation of the country of his origin -or at least the reputation about the people...◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

In the middle of Iran-Iraq War, it was not Japan nor other allies but Turkey that sent airplanes to save Japanese people left in Iran.As long as I remember, I learned about this fact for the first time in one of the self-development and psychology books I've read up a storm since while I was under psychotic depression, not on history textbooks nor media. So about a marine disaster which became an origin of friendly relations between Japan and Turkey. With the lapse of time...Reportedly, after the earthquake-disaster in eastern Turkey on Oct. 23, people at stricken area have been maintaining public order, helping each other and pulling themselves together. They thought that they have to learn from discipline and patience of the people at stricken area in Japan-Then, have our country been a kind of help in some ways...? Because if robbery and theft are rampant in the stricken area of natural disasters like those earthquakes, they would be kinds of man-made disaster. And as is already said, earthquake and flood are natural disasters, but atomic power accident is man-made disaster. Then, spreading harmful rumor, discrimination and bullying related to atomic power accident based on wrong information and ignorance can be regarded as clearly man-made disasters, too-or rather secondary man-made disaster... Does it make sense, discriminators?Even while we might be still occupied with our restoration and reconstruction, if we can share some lessons from the disaster we've experienced, it would be one of the ways we can be useful for the world immediately.-Not only good examples, but also negative exemplum.Eight months is passing after 3.11 earthquake. But today, let me take this occasion to place my prayer for the victims of earthquake in eastern Turkey -and flood in Thailand.(Last month)(Back then)◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

(August)As I confessed, I seldom watch TV -about two hours a week.I have to be better at time management to watch TV more.I cannot -or I'm not the right person to talk about TV while I seldom watch TV.So if I was asked about the fuss over TV dramas and pop culture from the neighboring peninsular country for past few months, it would be unanswerable for me since none of these programs are included in two hours a week I watch TV.-Even so;Focusing on only TV program matters, I wonder why those programs are selected by some avid viewers, and if it's easier to win higher audience ratings with such programs for TV stations, why they don't -or cannot try to win audience ratings with domestic programs.(See Sep. 21, 2008)It was autumn 2006 that the time I watch TV started to decline.Simply because back then, my life changed a lot -mainly because after I managed to get over my mental disease, I managed to start working full time again, so I became busier. After that, I began to hear about full of criticism of vulgar TV programs. As I confessed before, most of my accurate memory from summer 2003 to summer 2006 is lost due to my mental disease, so I'm not sure about the situation before 2006, though. What I'm sure today is:I think it's more constructive to demand better domestic programs than elimination of foreign programs.Do they try to create programs with quality enough to meet requests like this?Or TV might be less and less important, at least for people who have various else to do for their dreams or goals, and in their real lives -like me.◆:Ready to place summery if asked

Seven months are passing after 3.11 earthquake.(Back then)(Last month)It got suddenly cool -or rather colder from the latter half of September. But even after the summer with a long spell of intense heat ended, various problems due to atomic power accident haven't ended.Nor is the problem of electricity shortage. In a sense, saving electricity can be harder in winter than summer. In summer, we could tough it out by using fans, opening up windows -summer is the season we could spend shirt-sleeve.But in winter, we catch cold more easily unless we get bundled up.Then, we are demanded to cudgel our brains to save electricity again. One of the way I adopt to protect myself against the cold is to wear underwear with sleeves.I choose long-sleeved or short-sleeved by temperature and my physical condition. However, I still hear long-sleeved underwear is called with disparaging words as underwear for middle-aged or elderly women. Then, some people might avoid wearing them by vanity and turn up the thermostat. If you wear long-sleeved underwear, you can avoid wear too heavy layer of clothes, and look smarter.I'd like to take this occasion to place this suggestion before it's too late-Why don't we stop using such a disparaging word?Anyway, today's conclusion would be that it's time to reflect our values-This could be another story, though. And again -gambling amusement parlors with too flashy illuminations:As I pass by a few of those parlors every morning I commute, I thought up that what if all those amusement parlors introduce electrical power facilities using natural energy -then the law of demand and supply might change and that might help promoting the use of natural energy...this could be also another story here, though.(See also Apr. 2, 2011)◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

・I suppose there are still as many people as ever who rush in caterwaul just by seeing only superficial things, both in real world and virtual world.Let me suggest just that it would be wiser to keep away from rabbles of people who enjoy themselves bullying and abusing other people, or you assimilate into them, too.The same thing goes for on the Web. (See also Apr. 5, 2007)・Although I myself seldom watch TV, I occasionally watch TV shows when family members are watching, such as New Year's special programs. (See also Aug. 24, 2011)As long as I've watched those TV shows, I don't remember ever having good impressions about the famous TV personality who turned out to be in relationship with a crime syndicate and suddenly retired -although it is no doubt that he is talented and influential. When I heard the news about that, it came up in my mind that this hypothesis would be possible:He treated other people spitefully on TV shows and won high audience ratings. Then, such negativism ended up in drawing the relationship with gangs with same destructive state of mind. The backgrounds how their association began aside, like attracts like, as is often said.-I have to read technical books of psychology and spiritualism in English to translate my ideas perfectly. This might be something we could be thankful: He's shown a negative exemplum what disdain brings in the end.(See also Nov. 9, 2007)・In the country with the largest population in the world, a policy of one child per family has been in force. They wish to have a baby boy if they can have only one child, so as a result, many female fetuses are aborted and a large gender imbalance has become a major problem. The central authorities are trying to crack down on illegal sex check for fetus gender selection -but it can be doubtful that it is effective unless they correct excessive male chauvinism. As for the population problem, they might tell us to mind our own business, though. One month is passing since analog broadcasting was finished except for in three prefectures damaged badly by 3.11 earthquake. At least during July, there were full of news about disorders.I seldom watch TV at home from 2006.Simply because I have something else to do. (See Feb. 10, 2009)It hasn't changed even after I introduced new digital TV.And from 2010, I stopped watching TV news except for in cases of emergency like typhoons and other natural disasters.Because especially in the busy morning, my eyes are glued on screen if the TV is on and I slow down in changing clothes, combing my hair, and so on.I listen to the radio news in the morning to avoid this.As a result, for the past few years, I watch TV about two hours a week (NOT a day) unless movies and documentaries I want to watch are on air.For me, TV is never useless possession: I watch TV two hours a week, and I cannot understand weather and typhoon information very well on the radio. And after I introduced digital TV, recording is much easier. But there would be various new functions useless for me.So I'm not the right person to talk about TV, but there are just two things I'd like to comment.Overhasty transition bulldozed without consideration of public burden aside -what done is done... (See Jul. 30, 2010)First- It is still OK for us and my parents, but digital TV is not friendly. My grandfather put out the TV in his bedroom by unplugging, and broke the new digital TV set in less than four months. He couldn't handle the remote controller in the darkness; the buttons were so small that he couldn't find which button to push to put out the TV.I thought we should have installed a tuner and kept on using old analog TV set in his bedroom.Second- Surely, digital TV set consumes less electricity than analog, but due to the transition to digital broadcasting, many old analog TV must have been thrown away. There is a recycling system, though. So once I wondered that which would be friendlier on Earth, introducing digital TV set as soon as possible, using old analog TV set till the end, or minimizing the time to watch TV to the limit. (See May 27, 2009)But needless to see the recent survey that a TV set consumes electricity more than an air conditioner, the answer seems to be the third one.In this month, contents of programs and the scheme of TV broadcasting are mainly disputed, but this is another story.◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

Five months are passing after 3.11 earthquake.(Back then)(Last month)Last year's total fertility rate increased a bit, and actually, the numbers of new-born babies increased a bit.And after the earthquake, the numbers of couples who get married rose rapidly. The background is said to be because many people have realized the value of family. Then it is possible to expect that more babies will be born from now on naturally. If we remind the spirit of cooperation and gain the idea that we raise children in society, raising children would be easier and more and more women might choose to have children -then the future would be bright. On the other hand, there are concerns that may cause lower fertility rate even more:First, recession can be more serious.Due to electric shortage and too strong yen and political chaos, manufacturing industry are escaping to overseas.Different industries might come up instead, though. No doubt that one of the main backgrounds of recent lower birthrate is anxiety about the future due to recession, while it costs a lot to raise children.Second, sorry for people at the spot -but if ever infertility was caused by radioactive pollution, how would the power company and promoters of nuclear power plants take responsibility? The concern itself could be enough to make couples hesitate to have children.-Is there anything else? While I'm still struggling to rebuild my living after I managed to get over my mental disease, I wonder which way this country is taking -brightness or abyss.(See also Jan. 28, 2011)◆:Ready to place summery if asked

First of all: DO NOT read this diary if you want to keep on smoking.Tobacco tax is said to be raised again for financial resource for reconstruction from 3.11 earthquake. Then smokers might face a dilemma between contribution to reconstruction and stopping smoking this time. But only as for this, it would have nothing to do with me and my family because none of us has smoked.I have to do something else to contribute to reconstruction, though.I've mentioned that in the first place, we don't need to suffer from various problems related with smoking nor swayed by the government if we don't start smoking from the beginning.(Introduction) (Part 1) (Part 2) Today, let me place some ideas which might make you regret about smoking.1. A singer well-known with her superb husky voice and sharp tongue used to smoke. But she developed chronic obstructive pulmonary disease -or COPD, and the doctor warned that she would be unable to sing, and she gave up smoking:You can learn the hard way. Although it can be too late when you learn after people around you and yourself become illness by your smoking or you burn your house.2. It's time to realize that smoking is no more stylish.Especially younger generation tend to have image of smokers as being busy in vain, selfish, loose, stressful, weak-willed.Face the fact that smokers are kept away at various scenes now. Many young workers want their bosses to be non-smokers, and most people -both male and female -want their partners or lovers to be non-smokers.It's impractical, but how about having members of popular idol groups of girls and boys declare that they don't shake hands with smokers? It could have an immediate effect...(See also Jun. 30, 2011 and Dec. 27, 2010)3. Frankly -or bluntly speaking, they sell dependent things and make people nicotine addicts and raise money; then tobacco industry is the same as narcotics dealers, isn't it?-It can be an overstatement, but anyway, the government thinks that raising tax is more important than people's life after all. Do you still feel like sacrificing your health and life to pay tax?4. Let me introduce an interview of an owner of a clothing store I read on a magazine. When she realized that what she really likes is fashion, she decided to open a shop. For one year or so, she worked day and night for funds.Besides, she had been smoking two boxes of cigarettes a day, but she quit smoking and saved the tobacco money:Think what you can or could do with money you have spent for cigarettes.Next, a few concrete ideas to stop smoking. They are ideas I thought up or read, so please refer medical books or ask doctors for dependable methods. If smoking is still the most important for you, finish reading here.5. The clothing shop owner on No.4; she said that when she ran out of cigarettes one night, she decided to wait until the next morning to see whether she would still want to smoke -and as she kept on this, she could stop smoking. As for her, the biggest reason she could give up smoking might be her willpower to decide that her dream is more important than tobacco.6. When I was a freshman of college, I had to take a class of English conversation, and one of the topics used at the class was health issues. At that time, I thought up how to quit smoking:For one week or so, count how many cigarettes you smoke every day -one by one, NOT per box. Then reduce one by one per day -I recommend taking note on calendar. For example, if you smoke twenty cigarettes a day, smoke nineteen the next day, eighteen the next day -and you could quit in twenty days.I had never recommended it for smokers before, though -this is the first time I share it here.7. In this English class, we were asked what would be the best way to prevent under-age smoking. The answer which one of the boys in this class said was simple but appreciated as the most effective: "Don't sell tobacco."Actually, I've read that many of smokers regret about starting smoking, but I understand that the reality is so many smokers have difficulty in stopping smoking. It NEVER means that I connive at smoking! I've already explained the excuse.I don't know how to save them... so all I can do here is just to warn children and teens: Don't touch smoking from the beginning -better safe than sorry.(See also Sep. 27, 2010)◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

Already four months after 3.11 earthquake in eastern Japan.(Back then)(Last month)In this spring after the earthquake, various music and sports events were canceled or postponed -even my favorite band had to cancel some stages of their concert tour. The main reasons were explained to be safety problems due to aftershocks, electric shortage and atomic power accident. But some events were canceled from the reason that it is indiscreet to enjoy those events after the tragedy.However... excessive mood of voluntary restraint due to fear of indiscretion -or rather criticism about being indiscreet -could cause nationwide stagnation, and that became a major concern. A soccer player declared that he would like to do something to cheer up people through soccer even if he is criticized, instead of not doing anything from the afraid of criticism about indiscretion. So did various sports athletes and entertainers. And as mentioned several times, finding fault is foolproof and proof of foolishness, remember.(See also Apr. 22, 2011)If you say there is real indiscretion, it would be:Comedians using tragedy of earthquake as material of comedy,Media trying to shove microphones in victims' faces without consideration,Amusement parlors wasting electricity with unnecessary loud illumination, and above all... Politicians who are busier and more passionate for disputing and abusing fights than responding to the earthquake.Needless to say about the Minister who thinks the national government is higher in status than local government and threatened the governor of the stricken prefecture and local TV stations in the stricken area peremptorily, discriminating people by blood-type, offending victims at the spot and ended up in resigning.(See also Jun. 7, 2011)Today... may I ask you who read this English weblog to lend the wisdom instead of such government...?And again and again, I'd like to take this occasion to show respect for all the people struggling at the spot, and various support from all over the world.◆ :Ready to place summery if asked

・Once I was told a story describing the value of self-sacrifice:Father and his two little sons went to a department store. At dinnertime after shopping, they went to a restaurant on the top floor. While they were having dinner, all other people in the restaurant disappeared. They carefreely wondered that if there was a character show going on in the lower floor.Suddenly, smoke came up; the department store was on fire!It was already impossible to go downstairs to escape, so they ran up to the rooftop. But there was no one they could ask for help. There was another building next to the department store, but the distance was too far for two sons to jump.So Father stretched himself like a bridge and held the fence of the neighboring building, and told the sons to go to the neighboring building along his body. The bigger brother could reach the neighboring building first, but little brother was cowered.Father was getting exhausted.Father and bigger brother cheered the little brother desperately, and finally, the little brother managed to reach the neighboring building. And they looked back -and Father had disappeared.However... what I wondered first of all was why they didn't notice the fire sooner:Whether there was not an announcement warning about the fire or none of the employees and other customers told them to evacuate. And even if the announcement equipment was out of order due to the fire, why they didn't think something was not right when all other people in the restaurant disappeared.-Am I being too realistic?・An ordinance was introduced to oblige to stand up for national anthem. If my memory serves me right, argument about the prosperity of obliging national anthem legally had already been on in 1990s -and I was a high-teen girl when I heard the news about it for the first time.Back then, I confess that I wondered...:Many people would recognize a popular series of comic of a robot cat, a bullied boy and his friends. One of the main characters is a burly bully boy -and a terrible singer. What would happen if someone with a tin ear like him sang this song completely out of pitch at an important formal scene?Such a mischievous question aside... this song might be a bit unsingable technically for some people; the highest note is a bit too high.So I tried by myself and found that this song is easier to sing if the pitch is lowered two or three semitones.-Is that inadmissible?・A popularity vote for members of a large idol group of girls was held on a national scale. As for this, I have nothing to comment -except for:I just hope that their fans, media and all the people who took interested in this popularity vote will be devoted to national election as passionately as their popularity election, and the politics and the government in this country must be forced to change definitely.(See also Jan. 20, 2011 and Dec. 27, 2010)

Due to electric shortage after the 3.11 earthquake, saving electricity is required nationwide. So it is required to refrain from cooling rooms too much.Just as for this, I'd like to welcome such movement from this reason:(See also Sep. 8, 2010)Like many other female office workers, I'm also the one who have suffered from too strong air-conditioning in summer. No wonder- most offices have been male-oriented.Many male office workers wear thick long-sleeve business suits and tie even in hot summer, and complain that it's hot and uncomfortable, and turn the thermostat down. And many female workers have to prepare something to protect themselves from cold room such as cardigans and rugs to avoid poor circulation.I was also the one.But in this summer, willing or not, we have to avoid overcooling. So as is already said, I confess I am also the one who feel secretly relieved. You know what; in the first place, poor circulation caused by overcooling is really bad for your health, not only for female. There are various ailment caused by the cold such as air conditioner sickness, autonomic dystonia, various trouble during the periods. And I've read that cancer cells grow best at body temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius.However...Light business clothing during summer is endorsed.I hope this movement won't end up as empty slogans.I heard that there are still many workers who don't wear light clothing -or cannot wear due to the reason that their company are not allowing, or to keep up appearances.And... in this early spring, I worked an assistant at an entrance examination for a major company. At that time, it was still cold and most applicants wore usual business suits for winter. But in this summer, I wonder what job-hunting undergraduates wear.It could be up to the companies, but since job-hunting undergraduates worry about appearances, they might force themselves to keep on clothing formally.I'm not assisting in job interviews in summer -just let me tell them to be careful enough for heat exhaustion.-Me? When I have to wear business suits in summer, I wear short-sleeved blouse and wear jacket in the office.◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

Three month after 3.11 earthquake in eastern Japan. (Back then) (Last month)After the earthquake, an encouragement for Japan from Stevie Wonder was placed on YouTube. When I went to his concert for the second time in 2007, I realized that his songs are filled with love -the spirit of valuing and respecting each other and live together. (See Nov. 8, 2009)And I've heard how he loves and appreciates Japan highly. So I felt grateful to hear this news.At that time, I thought up "A Time To Love" for us and "Shelter in the Rain" for victims. At the same time... I wondered if we really live up to his praise.(See Jun. 7, 2011 first)About recent chaos of lame-duck government due to politicians being busier for political dispute than response to the earthquake, I'm NOT the right person to exposit or make an excuse or apologize about that. And writing about it might make me feel shameful and this essay would be too long complicated. This situation is described as another man-made disaster by some media. Not only us, but also all over the world might be angry and fed up.I feel like dedicating them "You Haven't Done Nothin'"!!Although this is a song made a smash hit in 1974, this song still arouses people's sympathy.And... personally, I confess that I owe this song in my music career -it's not right time to place about it today, though -but someday, perhaps.However... anyway; It is absolute that people at the stricken area deal with the disaster the hardest and the best.So let me take this occasion to ask you who read this English weblog to keep on encouraging and supporting those people at the spot. And today, let me take this occasion to place my gratitude for Stevie Wonder, and various support from over the world again and again.◇ :Ready to place translation if asked

In this spring, I worked an instructor at training seminars for new recruits from various companies. After the courses, they were given an assignment:Ask their bosses or managers about when they were newcomers-why they choose their job and decided to work for the company, how they were feeling back then, what encouraged them in their hard times, and so on. For new workers, one of the purposes for this assignment is to report about the training session as review. For bosses, this assignment would make them remind their older days and understand that how their new staffs are anxious and excited. Now today's main story.I'd like to ask all the politicians busier for political disputing than response to 3.11 Earthquake:What was the motive you decided to go into politics in the first place? No need to line up nice words. For some of them, the answers could be money and clout.Well, of course, money can be good reasons to decide what jobs to do.And sometimes attitudes to work could change.Even so, they need to be reminded what their jobs mean to the world all the time. There must be some politicians who work hard for people and society. But so many politicians focusing only inside The Diet and their political parties are outstanding too much.◇ :Ready to place translation if asked
