　　「駿河湾と深海生物」

　　過酷な環境！・・その中で生き続ける深海生物たち。

　　その生物たちの多くは、今もなお秘密のベールに包まれています。

　　日本初となる深海生物に、スポットを当てたこの水族館では、深海生物の宝庫である駿河湾の生き物や、世界中のさまざまな環境に暮らす生き物・・・

　　今まで紹介されたことの無い、生き物たちを数多くご紹介したいとのこと。

■　３億５千万年前から姿を変えない、シーラカンスは水深７００m付近の深さで生息。

　　まさに、岩石が泳ぐ様は！感動そのもの・・・。

　　その結果、深海で暮らす古代生物が！原形を変えない。
　　シーラカンスもやはり！その一類か・・。
