到着した翌日に、週末にのみ開催されているナイトマーケットへ行きました。

We went to the night market opened only on weekends on the day after our arrival day.

ＧＷ中だったので、日本はまださわやかな初夏、

It was during Golden week of  cool and nice early summer in Japan,

しかしハノイは連日３５度前後の真夏。しかも湿度も高い。

but in Hanoi, it was around 35 degree and high humidity.

夜でもじわじわと汗ばみます。

Even at night, I sweat.

涼しい気候から急に真夏の暑さに来て、まだ身体が追い付かないせいか、

Since I came from in such a cool weather suddenly to the mid summer hot whether , my body could not adjust.

この夜のマーケット散策は本当に暑くてしんどかった、、、。

Walking along the market, I was so beaten with the heat .

さて、これは何でしょう？

さとうきびのジュース屋さんです。

It is a sugar cane juice stall.

生のさとうきびを、グリグリ手で回して圧縮する機械にかけ、汁を絞り出します。

氷を入れて、

They put raw sugar canes to the machine and press and roll it to take its juice.

Put some ice then

袋に入れて、ストロー指して、はいどうぞ。

put a straw, and here you go.

衛生面が若干気になりましたが、

ライムも入っているのか、思ったより爽やかな甘さで美味しかったです。

なんといっても１００％天然無添加です。

１杯１００００ドン（４０円）は、ナイトマーケット価格なのか、外国人向け価格なのか、

多分少し高いような気もしますが、実際はどうなんでしょうか？

主人は値切ろうとしましたが、おばちゃんに厳しく断られたので、妥当なお値段だったのかな？
