During a lunch break, my colleagues were talking about their lunch.
I asked one of them what “KESO lunch” was. She said the others explained her lunch looked like “KESO KESO”. I can’t explain what kind of food looks like “KESO KESO”, but I guess it looks like dry or anyway, it doesn’t sound delicious. I haven’t expected this, because I’ve heard the word “KESO” before. I racked my brains for the word, and finally I found out what it was. The word was “queso”. Queso is the word “cheese” in Spanish.
They might think that I was snobbish. That is a typical Japanese worry, isn’t it?
“Queso lunch (Cheese lunch)” sounds very much normal to me. But I won’t buy Cheese ONLY lunch!
