It is a unique tea. It is called “drip tea”. I’m not sure “drip tea” is real English. It is made like coffee. Tea leaves are in a filter, so all I have to do is pour hot water. It is very easy for me to make a cup of tea in my office. Needles to say, it is easy to make a cup of tea by tea bags but I enjoy much stronger flavor by drip tea.
I said to one of my colleagues “they sent me ‘loving tea’ this month. I guess this is what we must have. Or I should say what we are lacking of…” as a joke.
I said it is “loving tea” but she still looked puzzled. Finally she said “what is DUBBING tea?” People around her, included me, stopped moving for just a second and started laughing real hard.
Just a few minutes before this happening, we were discussing whether it is illegal to dub a CD for your friend or not.
LOVING and DUBBING… It sounds like the same if you pronounce in Japanese way. If you are an English native speaker, it is difficult for you to understand what I am talking about. If you want to understand it, please ask your Japanese friend to pronounce it as REAL Japanese way. Then, you will know what I mean! As for us Japanese, it is quite difficult to pronounce in English correctly!
