ハリウッド映画3本をインターネット上に転送をしていた件について、香港では当人が3ヶ月の禁固刑に処されることになりました。
p2p（peer-to-peer）は、通信回線が超高速になるにつれて、利用が広がり、利便性も求められて来ますが、知的所有権の侵害に結びがちなのは、世界共通の問題点のようです。
The Standardpeer-to-peer方式のファイル共有アプリケーション BitTorrent を使って、著作権者の許可を得ずにファイルをインターネット上に転送するのは違法とし、3ヶ月の禁固は、次のケースではもっと重くなる可能性が有るそうです。今回は、初めてのケースと言う情状を勘案して3ヶ月と短い判決が下された由。
