July 3 (Bloomberg) -- World Trade Organization's chief Pascal Lamy has two weeks to persuade the U.S., India, the European Union and Brazil to make concessions in global trade talks and rescue any chance of wrapping up an accord this year.

A WTO meeting in Geneva aimed at writing a "user manual" of formulas to cut duties on farm and industrial goods as well as agricultural aid ended July 1 with no progress as governments refused to make any new concessions.
