seattlepie.comが伝えるところによれば、Internet Explorer に関する the Eolas Technologies Inc. and The Regents of the University of California vs Microsoft Corporation の特許紛争は、決着をみたとのこと。
しかし、両者決着の詳細を明らかに出来ないとのことで、決着が付いたこと以外は、現在詳細は不明です。

Microsoft and Eolas Technologies Inc. have settled their high-profile patent dispute over technology in Internet Explorer, according to a letter to Eolas shareholders from Mark Swords, the company's chief operating officer. The agreement resolves a case in which Microsoft was previously hit with a judgment of more than $500 million.
