ＭＲ向け週刊誌の「アプローチ」今週号の、末吉武さんによる「プロフェッショナルで行こう」の今回のテーマ「英語論文にチャレンジしよう」は、たいへん胸のすいたものでした。
というのは、吾輩は数年前から英語文献やサイトなどを閲覧して、参考になるなと思ったのを社内イントラ掲示板で紹介したりしたこともありました。
ところが何人かの支店スタッフからは「カッコつけんな！」とか言われたりしました。
極めつけは当時同期の所長から「お前は新しい情報を提供しているつもりだろうが、今度導入する情報システムでは『日本語』による情報が充実されてくるから、お前の情報なんか不要になるだろうな」と、嫌味を言われたものです。
ま、彼は社内営業が得意で、上から言われたことは白いものでも「黒だ」と言い切った反面、部下の主張で納得できないものは、それが国際標準でも「お前の言うことはわからない」と言うような輩でしたらから・・
今回の末吉さんの主張と同様のことを述べたのですが、「何ヌカシテんだ」と言うような事を言われ、吾輩はすっかり呆れてしまったものです。
（それでも懲りずやっとりましたが・・）
そして数年後、末吉さんがＭＲのスタンダード誌といわれる「アプローチ」誌で述べてくれたこと、とてもうれしく思った次第です。
I am so encouraged by the column titled as “Let’s try English reports!” of “Be professional “written by Sueyoshi-san, in “Approach”, excellent weekly magazine for MR.
However some stuff at the branch office accused me of my reports saying “Are you a superstar?”
Moreover my boss complained “You might think you must offer good information. But with new in-house web system, we can get enough useful one in Japanese. So you won’t have to hustle and be unwelcomed.”
Surely he was so good at social politics that he could say “Black” looking at white object, on the other hand he denied what he could not accept said by office member even if it is global standard.
I tried to insist just as what Sueyoshi-san does in this column, he said “I cannot understand what you are saying”
I was so disappointed. (But I have been continuing.)
So I am so pleased with what Sueyoshi-san insist in “Approach”
