The ancient Syrian city of Palmyra has been fully liberated. Government forces have pushed Daesh terrorists out of the city.The Syrian forces were backed by Russian airstrikes in the offensive. The announcement has been made by a military source, following intense fighting between government troops and Daesh. The terrorists seized the World Heritage site in May. Daesh drew global condemnation when it destroyed 2000-year-old temples and an arch in Palmyra.
